I am enjoying the snow, thank you. Yes, we're breaking records.

@cacay1 Yes, it is. I'm expecting to see snowmen developing and kids playing in the snow until it all melts away and spring actually takes hold here.

@just4him I wrote a post about it. Surprise. Surprise. Those closings are for everyone's safety. Yes, there are Friday night and Saturday morning services in synagogues.

@DianneN I'll have to take a look. I thought it was only Saturday. I learned something new.

What are you having for dinner? I took out hamburger, but I don't know what I want to do with it. They started showing closings yesterday on the TV, so I'm sure there's a lot closed, and probably every church and synagogue, as I know that one has service on Saturday.

Fifty is nice. Sorry about the freezing rain. That part of any storm is bad. Winter will let go soon. We just need to practice patience.

@ElusiveButterfly The good news is, it hasn't vanished completely yet. There's a ray of sunshine, and that sunshine will bring in spring. Think happy thoughts.

I was surprised when my son showed up to take me to his apartment to do laundry. There is almost no traffic and everything is closed.

@Courtlynn He has a nice van whereas I have a small sports car, so his vehicle was much better than mine in the storm. I do need to take it out today to go to the library while they plow. That's going to be fun getting to the car and getting it out of the lot. Getting it back, won't be as hard. Now, next week will be an issue with doing laundry, or I should say this weekend. There's a huge author event in Green Bay this weekend, starting Thursday through Sunday, so finding time to do laundry will be interesting. According to my schedule it will be late Saturday if I do do laundry. So if you don't see me, that's what I'll be doing Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

@just4him he knew you had to do the laundry and wanted you safe, aww. so sweet.

I'm sure it is the opposite of mine. Tomorrow is going to seem a bit different for me. I hope I remember what day it is.

@just4him It's Monday morning here, they announced rain, but we are having a sunny morning.

@LadyDuck I'm glad the sun is shining. We have snow ending and looking out, it might have done so, but it is supposed to definitely end by noon.

It is a bad blizzard, but still I'm happy. I've been wanting a blizzard for a few years now. Now, spring can come.

It could very well be. When my son showed up to take me to his place today to do laundry, navigating the snow wasn't easy.

I'd like it to stick around for a little while. We have more snow in the forecast later this week, so it won't be going completely away. Not yet.

@cacay1 Today I will need to leave so they can plow the parking lot, otherwise I will be here.

I'm glad it's snowing. I've wanted a blizzard for years. It will probably be years again before we have another. It's too early in the year yet for long sleeve shirts and warm weather in the north.

@MsBooklover Why would people go to the pool if it's not open? People just make no sense to me.

@just4him I know yet...people are at the pool, and it is not even open.

Now, that depends on your perspective. I love snow and have been wanting a blizzard for quite a few years. So, I'm happy, even if the whole city is shut down with this one.

Green Bay shut down. Most if not all businesses are closed. Almost nothing is moving out there except the plows. We're looking at 2 feet of snow or more.

It's deeper today than in that picture. I've never experienced a blizzard like this one. The most I've experienced was a foot plus of snow, this one is ramping up to 2.5 feet of snow, but I won't know the actual totals until tomorrow.

Since the storm will still be in full swing yet tomorrow, it is normal. Otherwise, we would still have service.

Yes, it could. I told my son I could play Christmas movies again.

I'm sure the kids are looking forward to a snow day on Monday, since this doesn't get over with until sometime on Monday.
