Oh Man! What A Day!

The first thing was to get to the DMV to renew my drivers license, that expired in February!!!! Off I was running this morning to drive 35 miles to the drivers license office, got there and I waited for 1 1/2 hours before my turn. I was thinking here goes my morning and I has another planned appointment before driving Tony to his Cancer treatment.
Last week I did not go to the post office for the mail but twice and the last time were a few notices I wished I had gotten earlier. I did not know my license had expired and I got a card telling me so.
I had filled out paperwork for Tony and dropped it off at the mail box at the little town post office.
On the way out of town I dropped off a library book.
The Dollar General meeting? Yeah .... well.... he walked away and came back telling me has nothing for me but need to find out what happened. I am not a happy camper! I told him I could not wait around I things to do, I will be back tomorrow.
Now I had to drive an hour for Tony`s appointment. As I got off I -20 onto 459 north I could smell crayons in the air, weird.
I get him to his appointment then I walk over to the lung doctor office and I get the money they owed me because "they" did not get the referral and I did.
Food? Nooooooo. No time for me to eat so I had a bag of chips while I waited. I am really enjoying this new novel so the wait was a pleasure today.
When I left we went to the bread store, some restaurant guy was there, he bought a pick up truck full of day old bread, he must have this woman paid off because she told him she would put back all the new bread for him, now I know why none of it was soft.
Got a fish sandwich at Arby`s
Stopped at Publix and Walmart and the Dollar tree for Tony.
I called the tenant, knowing he went to work already but he was on the road and wondered why I did not come by already. We agreed on a time for tomorrow.
After tomorrow I have no more appointments made. As for the Dollar general bullsh*t I plan to call the lady back, I am not running to that place, wasting my time and gas money waiting for them to resolve it with an insincere apology from a smart azz little man.
Now I sit and rest.

There is always so much to do and not usually enough time, so things do get pushed to tomorrow around here!

We're gettin' 'er done. Putting back the door to the bathroom in the caravan after putting up the cupboard, etc. Then we're painting the wheel rims of the bus to smarten it up a bit and hopefully make it more attractive to buyers.

@andriaperry We had a motorhome which we bought in Ireland when we were overseas but sold that before we came home. We have the bus/motorhome which is up for sale and a caravan which we bought to replace the bus.

District called me told me to go by and talk to steve he would give me gas money and a $5 gift card. He knew nothing about that, so he said.

This Monday was a good day. Just another day doing surveys and being shocked that the Beatles animated movie "Yellow Submarine" that came out in 1968 will be released in July 2018 as it is the 50th Anniversary of that movie which as far I know, it is the only animated movie The Beatles made outside of their television cartoon.

@andriaperry I mean it is evident that some shows that were popular in 1967 and 1968 are being released in theaters as a way to please us Baby Boomers.

Oh Monday... my eyes are nit in the mood for monday... my hands are busy yet my eyes are droopy. But still i was able to finish my tasks. Thanks to my fast hands.

When your license expires do you have to retake the driving test? I am terrified of forgetting to renew mine and having to retake the driving test lol. I have been driving for 17 years but I cannot parallel park. I only winged it at the center to pass and got lucky!

Wow, you did a lot! I just went to buy some groceries, did a bit of exercise and ate. Yes, I also spent some time on myLot and watched some TV.
It wasn't a nice day as it rained and there were some icy patches everywhere.

Finally got the taxes mailed and figured out how to put money into an account I could write a check on. Got the dishes that have been stacking up done. went grocery shopping tonight because Hubby is getting a cold again and needed more fresh fruit. He had eaten his last banana, and he has a vast appetite for bananas. I try to buy enough to last a week and I find they are gone in a few days.

I don't have to go to the DMV because both of our vehicles are in both of our names, and my name (thankfully) is second, so the government sends my husband a bill that he has to go in and pay and get his sticker near his birthday. I only have to go every 5 years for the drivers license picture update. One of these years I think that I'll stick my tongue out at the camera.
