I feel so strange I think it’s vertigo

Yesterday I kept feeling this lightheaded feeling but it wasn’t like I was going to faint. It was so odd I just kept saying I don’t feel right. My ears have been ringing since the wisdom teeth were removed. It’s annoying but tolerable. It’s back again today the weird feeling. I feel like I’m on a boat with a wave coming lightly and pushing it making it rock a bit. When I walk my balance is off a bit so I kept reaching for the railing. I ate and got iron and protein so I know it’s not that. When my iron gets low and I get faint it’s very different then this. There is yucky odors everywhere today. The puppy has her gross anal glad smell and although I can’t find the source of the next odor it smells like a stink worm in here. I think it’s possible my cat might have found one and killed it and ate it. I got a wonderful surprise when I went outside to photograph the mama bird in her nest. After I took a photo she flew out and I saw another new egg! Seems she’s laying one a day. This is so exciting. Tomorrow when I can use my computer I will upload a photo of mama in her nest.

Have you checked your blood pressure lately?

@Kandae11 They checked me when I had the wisdom tooth removed and it was normal. I don't have a thing at home to check into but I could ask my parents. My dad was a nurse so he has a blood pressure cuff. I don't think it's my blood pressure though. I have always had normal or low blood pressure never high. I think it's due to having the wisdom teeth removed.

@bunnybon7 they actually called me this morning and asked how I was doing. I told them I had no swelling and barely any pain but that I seem to have a little bit of vertigo. She asked if I was still taking the narcotic and I told her I never took any that the advil was enough. This weird dizziness is very light so it doesn't bother me much it's just such an odd feeling.

@bunnybon7 I have never heard of H-Pylori before. I just read up on it. It’s shocking to me that it’s so common. How do the doctors think you got it?

Those eggs are so cute. My mama has suffered from vertigo for years. She has a really bad problem with one of the nerves in her neck that runs near her ears and around her jawline. Normally, hers acts up on really cold or really hot days. I hope yours improves. If not, you should go to the doctor.

@Shelleyann36 It has gotten better each day. Today I have barely felt it at all thankfully. That is awful your mother had to suffer with it for so long. It must be awful. Mine was very light and didn't effect me too much.

@Shellyann36 aww I hope she will eventually let you go with her. I tend to be like her and not speak up for myself as well. I’m to shy.

@shaggin I am glad to hear that yours is better. I hate what my mama has to go through daily. She has lost most of her hearing and she was fitted with wonderful hearing aids but the one she had in on her left side (the side she has nerve damage in) really made her sick. Painful headaches, vertigo got worse and even nausea. She had to stop wearing them and the doctor will not adjust it so that she only wears one in her right ear. I am not sure why. I really wish she would let me go to these appointments with her. She is too laid back and does not ask questions and just goes with the flow. My daddy is the same way. It worries me.

I'm afraid that does sound like vertigo. I hope it goes away as you heal from the tooth extraction. After such a day as you've had, I'm glad you had the surprise and joy of finding another new egg. I hope tomorrow will be better for you.

@bagarad I feel less lightheaded today. It is yucky weather out slushy snow. I was planning to take my daughter today to pick up her new glasses and get groceries but I think I will rest another day.

@mlgen1037 my aunts wisdom teeth never came in until her 60s and then when she did she had horrible vertigo until the teeth were removed. This isn't too bad and I am hoping it will be over soon. Thank you so much for caring. I have added you to those I follow so hopefully I will see more of your posts!

@mlgen1037 yes I have anemia so I take iron pills. It's still early but I feel less lightheaded today. I was going to take my daughter to get her new glasses and go shopping but it's snowy and yucky out so I think I will take another day to rest.

@shaggin You are most welcome, my friend. And thank you for following me. I appreciate it very much. May I ask if you are anemic, Shaggin? Never heard until today that the wisdom teeth can come out at the age of 60 plus. That could really cause horrible vertigo. How are you feeling right now?

It certainly sounds like vertigo. Vertigo is caused by an inner ear imbalance. If your ears are ringing, chances are you are off balance. There is a simple technique you can do to bring balance back to your inner ears and rid yourself of vertigo. I have done this exercise when I had vertigo and it really works. Here is a link I found with the instructions. I do this while lying down on the bed and I do it on both the right and left sides. Good luck.
The spinning sensation and dizziness you get from vertigo can limit your activities and make you feel sick. Learn some simple maneuvers you can do at home that might bring relief, depending on the cause.

@Starmaiden I have had tons if ear infections as a kid and into adulthood. They are excruciating. I have hearing damage from having so many severe ones as a kid. I think it's just a side effect of the teeth extraction.

Thanks so much! I can't wait to get a few minutes to get to the computer and post the photo. I finished that book by Joanne Fluke. It wasn't very exciting so I skipped reading the other books I have by her for now and switched to another author I have never read before David Baldacci. It's called One Summer. I love it and am finding it hard to put down.

@Tina30219 might just not be a good book I won't quit reading her books for good but for now I wanted to try something else. Have you read anything by David Baldacci?

@shaggin I seldom noticed them here. Even they are here, I will never have a chance to see the beautiful eggs. Maybe they live in the forest.

@andriaperry two others mentioned blood pressure but I have never had mine be high before so I think it's just from the surgery. Yesterday it was hot and I was climbing up and down steep banks carrying metal and cleaning up glass and at one point the vision in my eye got wonky so I called it quits for the night. That does sound like blood pressure to me but I don't know for sure.

@Icydoll my camera wouldn't zoom in as far as I wanted nor was she in the position I wanted her in but it will do. My daughter uses the computer all the time when she is home from school so I have to wait until tomorrow to transfer the photo from my camera to my computer before posting it here.

@snowy22315 I am sure it is common and hopefully goes away soon. We are running low on food and I need to pick my daughters new glasses up tomorrow so hopefully it will be gone by then. If not I may have to ask my mother to take us and I don't want to do that at all! I do not like asking people to help me.

@allknowing nope someone else mentioned it though. When my blood pressure got low I would feel faint this is a different feeling then that so I think it is due to the surgery.

Ears ringing and poor balance are not good signs. II hope that will go away with some rest. Otherwise I would see a doctor.

@Madshadi I am sure that these light symptoms are fairly common and normal after wisdom teeth removal. They had me read through a paper before having my teeth removed with warning signs and what is normal. Unfortunately they did not send it home with me though so I don't have it to read over again.
