Yes gas prices are going up.Here we pay $2.75 a gallon.
They expected to jump 33 cents a gallon this spring and summer.
Would not be surprised to see $3 soon.
They say it should peak this month. We will see.
Does not effect me too much. But for some who travel every day back and forth to work. Will cost them a pretty dime.
But this will not stop me at all.No one is going to ruin my Summer

Below is from USA Today News on the prices.
Gas prices are expected to jump 33 cents a gallon this spring and summer, according to a government forecast released Tuesday.
The Energy Information Administration forecasts the national average price for a gallon of regular gas at retail pumps between April and September will be $2.74, up from an average of $2.41 last summer.
Gas prices typically increase in the spring as oil refineries undergo maintenance and prepare to produce lower-emission fuel blends for the peak summer driving months.
Higher gas prices are mostly due to higher crude oil prices, which Patrick DeHaan, a senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy, said are being boosted because of production cuts by OPEC nations. GasBuddy provides retail fuel pricing information.
DeHaan predicts that prices at the pump should peak in May before falling back in June an

We are experiencing pain at the pumps lately also.
The minimum wage in Ontario increased to $14/hour the first of the year, and as a result everything has increased in cost.
We pay about $1.39/L of gasoline currently, which equates to about $2.93/US gallon.
And its only April, I hate to think of the price come July.
But......although I don't like the thought, we'll pay it and that will be that.

They will use any excuse to raise gas prices. If a camel farts in the Middle East, the price goes up. I am sure they will use that refinery fire as an excuse to raise prices also. The prices will keep rising until Congress starts investigating. Then, they will mysteriously start falling.

We have high state taxes in Oregon, so gas here is close to $3.20 already, about the same as Sacramento. Average price in Los Angeles is already over $4.00. We pay nor more than California, but here we do not pump our own gas.

@amadeo We always vot it down when it comes up on a ballot. Our gas would be no cheaper, judging by California, where you pump your own. I never like pumping it when I am our of state. In counties with fewer than 40,000, self-service pumps are allowed.
New Jersey is the only other state where you can't pump your own.

Well some people might find me too idealistic but I think we all ought to move towards renewables. We ought to pressurise urgent governments to provide us more affordable alternatives like Hybrids or Electric or may be solar powered vehicles. Or make superb public transport infrastructure.
Lesser fossil fuel burning will be good for us, future generations and for the planet. I am wondering why nobody is talking in those terms.

That time of year, and when people are so dependent on something. They can pretty much do what every they want to do. That refinery also blew up in Wisconsin or caught fire and sure they will make us pay for that also.
