That would be the usual comment from persons when they encounter a very young child who displays extraordinary intelligence - he or she has been down here before. Meaning , that child lived another life on earth - possibly fifty, a hundred or hundreds of years ago. Over the years I have encountered persons who claim to have existed before - in another time, another life. Is that possible? What do you think? Did you ever meet anyone and got the feeling - that person was here before?

I've felt that way about myself! But I don't make any serious claims ... there are just certain cultures or time periods that I relate too, and I have never been sure why. Weird, huh.

Not weird. I keep wondering why I have this deep fascination with things and lifestyles of the past.

Is that some sort of reincarnation or rebirth?

I hadn't thought of reincarnation but I guess that is what they mean.

I do believe that we all have lived previous lives. Yes, I have met with people who remember their past lives. I think it's fascinating when they talk about it. I wish I could remember some of mine.

I remember being very knowledgeable at age five. During that period I was very sheltered - with no television or internet....

No never had that feeling and I'm pretty sure it is not true that anybody has ever lived before. Since we come from dust and return to dust.

I like reading about historical figures and life in previous centuries - but I surely won't have liked being a peasant in the 13th century.!

Déjà Vu happened a lot of time. I visit a place for the first time and I have the feeling that I was there before. When I visited Pompeii in Italy, I knew exactly where the temple was and also some houses. Did I lived in ancient Pompeii when it was destroyed by the volcano?

Yes. Me! and this little boy. I think I wrote about the little boy way back, but me? I go to new places I know I have never been and I know everything and where stuff is and i feel at home in this town. Very strange. Yes I do believe in reincarnation, I have listened to people and their stories of being a baby and in a white room waiting, and then jumping into life. People from different walks of life that have never met cannot make up the same story.

Don't recall that post. The little boy in the picture I used as an illustration - but it could be any child, any young age. I remember hearing someone referring to a six year old girl who was behaving very adult - as "a little old lady". Sometimes I do wonder about this great fascination I have with the past.

Some children have inborn talents that are tough to make sense of. I have seen some precocious kids with amazing talents. It is then generally said some geniuses are reborn - siva

@Kandae11 I think you're right. Some people seem quite young/immature even though they are older in calendar age... whereas I have never felt young. The answer must be out there
