Maybe you have seen pictures or even videos where someone seems to be doing something that may look either very brave or very foolish? An example would be the attached picture. How do you view it as very brave or as very foolish? Have you done something similar where some act could be viewed as either very brave or very foolish?

Back in the 90s when I joined politics, and got lucky to be voted into office in the smallest political unit of government in our country, looking back now I view what I did then was rather brave but at the same time a bit foolish.

The mayor of our town invited me to work politically with him but I declined as it is not something I want to do.

@louievill I can understand why it would take courage but what happened that you look upon it as foolish?

He is vey, very foolish. I can't even imagine him getting up to walk away. I've done a few crazy things in my life, but nothing I thought would kill me.

That's CRAZY!!!!!! Those daredevils make your heart drop just looking at them!!!! I wasn't too far from the edge of a cliff before!!!! At the grand canyon!!! When the lady showed us the path around the bend of the mountain it looked wide.... 'Til we got around there!!!! When we looked down we were on the edge of the cliff, 50,000 ft up!!!! I composed myself somehow and my aunt said Go Back!!!!!! We tiptoed on the edge back to the beginning!!!! Whew!!!! Talk about heart dropping!!!!!!!!!

@db20747 When were young we sometime think we are indestructible and that nothing bad can happen to us. We mature and gain wisdom and we don't take chances with our lives anymore.

@1hopefulman He is sitting there too close to the edge. Why is he doing that? Is he trying to prove something or finds it peaceful there?

Foolish..I am not that brave or foolish to ever do such a thing. As a teenager I got in a car with somebody who was drinking and driving which was foolish on my part. Thankfully nothing happened.

Oh, just looking at that picture makes me feel giddy. I once was being filmed by a friend and I crossed a busy road when the lights said not to cross. A fast car bumped me out of the road and I have never been reckless around roads ever since!

Even when I was young I would not try that, but I did have some friends who would bare hand rock climb. They would scare me just watching them. 1 loose rock or sweaty hand and bye bye!

It seems that some people enjoy taking risks. I have taken a few when I was younger but am very cautious now.
