Any Memorial Day weekend plans?

The main thing I have planned to do is to go to a Renaissance Festival with friend. There is one here that people all over the state come to, and it is quite affordable you don't even have to pay for parking. I went a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. The weather is not supposed to be fantastic on Sunday but if we go early in the day before the storms kick off it should be OK. I also have an appointment on Monday for a study...surprising they would have it on Monday.

I hope you have a good time!
It's just another weekend to us.. and as of right now, I will have my niece and nephew sometime Sunday because of having to watch them while their mom works Monday.

Well hopefully that will be fun for all. I haven't really watched any kids since my nephews were young. They hung out here a few times playing video games while their parents went to a motel.

Thanks, I am looking forward to it..but will go in the morning as it is supposed to be hot. Today is nice, why couldn't it be today? sniff.

I have friends who enjoy going to those festivals. I am not sure if I would enjoy it or not but maybe someday I will check one of as you don't know if you will enjoy it if you don't try. I can't imagine how hot those people must get in those heavy dresses etc.

I don't envy them as they must be hot. However, where this venue is held it is kind of shady. There is a huge one in Maryland I used to go to in the DC area..that one was very expensive even back in the 80's I would hate to think what it costs now. The one near me is not expensive at all.

NO plans now since the weather is going to be bad. My parents were going to go out of town and go to the other house down south, but they dont want to be out in the bad weather and are planning to just stay home and probably go see family and friends, nothing to big.
Not sure what i will do and im trying to see if my boyfriend will stay here till Monday for the holiday and then leave Tuesday morning to go to his new job location, something i will talk to him later about tonight and see if he wants to do that or not, as i think that would be the better option for us and to have some time together before he leaves.

Oh well I hope everything works out for the best. Kind of typical for summer weather this weekend, which is rarely great..but anyway, it is what it is.

Yeah, I am usually happier going out then staying in..Right now I am trying to conserve gas though..I could have done a mystery shop but it was far away.

I might go swimming..might check out the barbecue..but was having some issues with it last year.

Yeah, I might think about going down to the lake..bbut probably only briefly..because it is crowded on mem day week and I was there the other day the water is still a bit cold.
