All Tuckered Out

Both Doodles and I were the first ones up this morning. I fed Doodles and then his sister, Kuma, took Doodles for a walk, then met my friends for our morning walk. No coffee or anything allowed, since I had to get blood work done at the lab.
When I returned home, I showered and left for blood work at the lab. No coffee.
When I returned home, Doodles was crying to go outside. So, without any coffee, out we went. He caught his 7th chipmunk and it wasn't a pretty sight. I couldn't drink coffee after seeing that.
So out I went to plant more annuals. I'm done for now.
And finally, at 11:50 AM, I am sitting down to a cup of coffee while Doodles naps on his kitty gym.
How has your morning been?

I hate not being allowed to eat or drink due to lab work .... of course in my case I haven't been to a doctor since 2012 and don't plan on going to one anytime soon.
Poor you, having to watch Doodles do what comes natural, I can't watch that either but at least Doodles is energetic enough to do that. I guess ya gotta take the bad along with the good.
I'm in and out today because it kinda cool for this time of year, it'll only reach 87(f) which is nice. Hopefully I can get a handle on the mess I made outside.

If I'm busy, I can go all day without eating, but do like my morning cup of coffee.
I tried to stop Doodles, but he was too quick. Once he put it down, it tried to runaway, but then he caught it again and bit it several times. That's what made me sick to my stomach. Doodles ate grass immediately to cleanse his palate, but vomited chipmunk blood and grass in the house. Thank goodness I grabbed him off our costly area rug and put him on the tiles. I had the pleasure of cleaning it, too. When my husband got home, he took care of Chippy.
Get your work done while it's fairly cool and talk to you later. I just returned from another long walk with Doodles and must rest up! No critters this walk!

@DianneN 8th and a mole ! I would have screamed too. But at least Doodles is staying quite active - catching critters must be no easy feat! Hope all will be ok for his August appointment. We haven't had our coffee yet . . . like I said in another comment, Hubby is still sleeping!

He caught an 8th, but dropped it when I screamed. He did get me a lovely mole, too. He seems a bit better, but we will know more about his heart and weight in August when he goes for another echocardiogram. Yes, that coffee certainly helps! Thanks for asking about Doodles.

A cat that actually uses cat furniture?
I'm thinking of that stereotype of people buying beds for their kittens but they prefer the carton box.
How is Doodles doing, by the way?
When I had blood works, I used to treat myself with croissant and cappuccino, I miss those times.

@DianneN Glad to hear he's improving somehow.
Oh right, seeing that doesn't help with appetite.

It sounds silly, but the cats use their furniture and cat beds, as well as everything that humans use. Lol!
He's doing a tiny bit better, and the lab tests he had show that his body is absorbing his medicine. We will know more the beginning of August when he has a mother echocardiogram.
No treats for me. I'm stil sick thinking about that chipmunk he crunched up. Ugh!

Not as dramatic as yours! I guess it is safe to say Doodles is feeling better. The cat fountain yesterday was the big excitement around here.

@DianneN Oh my gosh! That's so many. :O But I guess you don't have to deal with chipmunks now. If only they knew to stay away from your home hehe.
Yes, lab work is a must do to check our health. :)
Gym is only fun if there is a gym buddy other than that I don't know if I'd go.

7th in almost 3 weeks. He's only gotten one and that was last year.
My doctor always likes to see the results of lab work, too. Anything to remain healthy! I hope you enjoyed your day and your time at the gym. I joined one again, but have only been there 3 times since we returned from Florida. I must work out a better schedule. There is always something going on to suck up my day. lol

We must definitely be twins. One cup of coffee fills me up for the whole day. I have to force myself to eat breakfast and lunch, but usually don't bother with one or the other.
Doodles caught #8 today. I startled him when I screamed, so he dropped Chippy. Chippy scampered away. Yes, Doodles comes to life when he sees chipmunks.
