Can you see my new little buddy?

My morning alarm clock, the little guy sings and sings and sings I took this a few days ago

He showed up here just about a month ago and try as I might I had the hardest time getting a shot of him. This isn't the best shot of the little feller but it's the best I could do considering he seems to know what a camera is and flies off everytime I try to get a shot. Isn't he a cutie?

I hope he sings nicely. There is a cuckoo bird not far from us, it is extremely annoying.

No, I only provide water for the birds. They do better if they get nutrition from natural sources.

Yes, indeed he is cute buddy! Some birds are very cautious and they know people are not bare handed and carrying something and pointing towards them. With the natural instinct they fly away the moment they find such situation! Thanks!

He or she is not singing to me as much now that it is becoming hot @AKRao24 hopefully I can get a better shot next year.

Not yet, I thought I would wait for his name to be revealed to me. Maybe it already has been, he likes to come around at sunrise and set to sing to me.

I think so too, he is a mockingbird. I wish I could record him but he still isn't comfortable when I point my camera at him. Maybe next year, I hope.

He just sings to me. So far I haven't been yelled at .... I think it's because their nests are way up in the elm tree.

I agree, he really is cute. I'm so happy when I get to see birds other than mourning doves and sparrows. This little guy only comes in spring then when it gets consistently hot he's gone ..... maybe he'll let me get a shot of him next year, I didn't hear him this morning.

He is cute,your bird is like the birds and animals I see in the park by the time I get my camera focused there have left the scene.You did get a picture though.

I think the only people who have consistent success with birds shots are those who put feeders in their yards, I don't feed the birds but I do provide water for them.

@rebelann I used to provide food and water but birds stopped coming. I think it could be because of cats. I saw some on the premises.

He's a mockingbird. I do believe he is a little camera shy but now that I've started whistling when he's close by he's becoming a little less shy around me.
