I Bet The Neighbors Are Glad

Today I got to the "in between" houses. See the neighbors house sits on the line, I mean on the line! My side was all grown up with old shrubs and with poison ivy up the side of the old home place and it had covered their house. 
I cut down what I could of the poison ivy from inside the side door and then Tony was kind enough to clear the rest and cut down the bushes with the electric chainsaw but I moved all the small cut down trees and the shrubs. Now The neighbors have natural light again in those three rooms.
Someone let me know they had been there by sitting piece of a broken glass beside the steps on the west side patio, so I cut down all the bushes so now if they come to visit everyone can see them, plus me and my camera inside the house.
There was 2 truck loads to haul down to the field.
I am not sure if I will go to work there again tomorrow or not, I would like to finish this so I can start on the inside, All I have left to do is square off this lot.
We got home around 6 pm, took showers and went out for Chinese fro dinner.
I can say I am extremely tired tonight but I have this wonderful feeling of accomplishment.

I hope that you're not allergic to poison ivy. I can just look at it and I am covered with the rash

Yes I am! That is why Tony did the most in that area, I just pulled the trees out and down to the field to rot

@andriaperry I am glad you had no problems. I was cleaning the garden from overgrown weeds and stuff and I did not notice nettles yesterday. 
I got allergic rash on both my hands. I must remember to wear gloves.

@andriaperry Still hurts, though I'm using the cane less. So, that's good. I'm hoping I'll be back in the pool on Tuesday.

I did but I still have to spray the side of my house because it won`t kill it just by cutting it down at the bottom.
I can bet they are happy, when I lived there the yard was so nice, but like anywhere you live you have to stay on it or it gets out of hand fast.

I hope the neighbors enjoy their new natural light.
Our "between" could use some TLC too, but we lack the proper tools to accomplish it. Lucky for our our neighbors let theirs run wild too. lol

Over the years I have added a tool a year. The loppers is what I still use the most, they are the cheapest too at $10. I am glad these neighbors did not say anything, although I gave him permission to come in the yard and do what he wanted.

Looks like a tiring day for you with all the cleaning. I also had a very busy day. It's my daughters bday. And we went to a small amusement park with 3 of her friends and my son. Imagine, me looking after 5 kids in the amusement park. And driving her friends home as well. Oh my! But I feel so happy seeing my kids smilling and having fun. So if budget permits i would still do it again.
