Welcome back! It looks as though you have made a new account, though your old account is more than likely still there. Do you remember what name you used? The design of the website was changed radically in 2013 and 'Interests' and 'Categories' no longer exist. Their place has been taken by tags (which you can add to your discussions, responses and comments to categorise or describe them). It would be a good idea to read what the 'Frequently Asked Questions' page has to say about tags: that will help you use them to best effect. The way that earnings work has also changed. Whereas in the old days, you earned a (more or less fixed) fraction of a cent each time you posted a discussion, a response or a comment, that is no longer the case. Now, everything you post (meaning every discussion, response or comment) becomes eligible to earn, but it won't actually earn anything until someone interacts with it in some way (by responding to it, commenting on it, 'liking' it &c.). It is actually a much fairer system because those discussions which have a lot of interaction (and so are, hopefully, good quality discussions) will earn more. There is really no way of saying what you can expect to earn because it's up to you to post discussions and join in other people's discussions but, after that, it depends on how much people interact with what you post! Naturally, the more active you are and the more you interact with others, the more likely it is that people will want to interact with you! Just as a very rough guide, however, it is not difficult to reach the $5 minimum each month and quite a few do better than that. Only one or two people, however, manage to make $20 or $30 a month and the owner has said that the most he's paid out to anyone in a month since August 2015 has been around $45! As others have suggested, reading the Guidelines, the Frequently Asked Questions and the Earnings Program FAQs will tell you nearly all you need to know about myLot and how it works today.

Unlike the old myLot, the new myLot depends on what others do, that is, how they interact with you. You will find the $5 minimum pretty easy to reach. Others make quite a bit more, as they have time to be here. Post interesting discussions, respond to discussions, and comment when people respond to you and you will be very pleasantly surprised. Many people came back who were gone when it quit paying, so you may see familiar faces. Some will have new names, others will be the same.The same general rules apply, take time to discuss and have fun and the pennies will follow.

Hello! The money you've earned is transferred automatically to your paypal accpunt when you've reached $5. This ususally happens in the middle of the following month. You don't have to 'choose interests'. You can write on any topic you like as long as you obey the Guidelines.

I would check the guidelines. Sadly the referral program no longer exists. The layout is a bit different but generally the same concept. The minimum payout is now $5 instead of $10 which is awesome. Best of luck.
