Morning at the Hospital

Day before yesterday we spent the morning at the hospital. My betterhalf had to be put to sleep so the doctor could look in his stomach to see if he has an ulcer. He is a jovial fellow and never meets a stranger. He had the nurses in stitches while they were preparing him for the test.
They said he made their job a lot easier and they enjoyed gabbing with him. They pushed him out for his test and were gone for about 45 minutes. He was soundly asleep when the brought him back. I tried talking to him to wake him up and so did the nurse but he kept sleeping soundly.
I was beginning to get worried and I think the nurse was too when she bent down near his ear and shouted WAKE UP and he jerked his eyes open. The doctor came in and told us they found nothing but a couple of small nodules and they had biopced those. So more tests will have to be done to find the problem after the biopsy comes back.

Some years back I had a similar experience and shortly after I changed my diet so that I could solve my problem.
I hope all works out!

@RubyHawk I know how hard it is to give up foods that we enjoy but being sick isn't fun either.

I hope that the biopsy is normal. It is fun when you have someone that can keep you in stitches.

@Marty1 Yes, he was fine when he woke up. I was concerned because my brother in law wouldn't wake up after surgery and they found he'd suffered a stroke. He woke up on the third day, had physical therapy and still has a limp and doesn't have good use of his hand.

@RubyHawk - I hope they biopsy comes back negative. It is hard when someone you care about is sick. I pray they find something minor is the problem and they are able to treat it easily.

Jay does the same thing, keeps them all laughing at the hospital. I'm glad your husbands tests are over and hopefully, those small nodules won't show any negative results. Once he got some food to eat, I'm sure he was feeling a lot better.

@RubyHawk My father had that problem, when his gall bladder was acting up. He had nausea, all the time:(

@kobesbuddy It could be my betterhalfs problem. We've talked about that. That's the most likely thing. I had gall bladder surgeries and that's The sickest I've ever been.
