Hello everyone.
I noticed a lot new members here for the past few days. Some are okay. Some are posting negative things about mylot. I just wonder why they join the site without even reading reviews about it or reading the guidelines or FAQ. Then rant and rant and rant.
They wanted this and wanted that, mylot should have done this and done that. With all due respect to all the sites out there, I do not think that there is a really perfect site without flaws on it. But the members have to deal with it and follow rules and guidelines, that is the reason most sites have those, right?
What do you usually do when you find something you do not like in some sites?

Many people come in hopes of earning a lot. I even came across a man who asked how much do we make here. I asked how much was he thinking? He ended up hoping it's $1,000 a month USD.
People just have high expectations and how can such "discussion site" earn them that much. The requirement should be people reading FAQ. Its pretty much common sense and something I do the first thing I sign up for a new site, or before joining.

@rakski He mentioned $1,000 and I told him, 1,000 Indian Rupee about $14/15 USD yes that is possible. But he said, no he meant USD.
Then I proceeded to let him know it's ideally $14/15 USD he told me oh well he has a full job anyway. Then why did he have such high expectations.

Not every person will be satisfied, they have high expectations of riches and in one minute. Poor things have a rude awaking, that is not how life works, you have to earn what you get in life.

That is so true. I came here from Bubblews. We earn there big time. I lost hope but then I came to my senses and that site is just one of the many that will entice you to join then bring you down at the same time. Now I cane to live with that experience and live with the site offers. Other than that I learn to be appreciative and learn from all here. I think that is mich better

Yes, I have encountered such persons, some are hoping for a big amount of money to earn here . I agree with you that they should at least read the community guidelines here before complaining..

I totally agree and like my parents use to tell me; if you can't say nothing nice don't say nothing at all and at least the sites does share their profit earnings with us on the same stuff we normally post on other social medias for free and give them all of the activity and commitment making the owner rich without sharing their profit margin with the users.

I think it's safe to say that there are going to be members of earning sites all across the web that are going to gripe about anything and everything. It's a fact of life.
You are absolutely right, there are no perfect sites. No matter where you go, there are going to be ups and downs.
When there is something that I don't like about a site, I simply work around it and keep going. I'd rather use my energy to work the site than to complain about it.

I have noticed one new member who was complaining. Maybe there are others that I haven't seen. Sometimes new members arrive and they start by saying "I think that myLot would be a better site if they improved this and this and this" I think that it better to get to know the site first before you complain or try to improve it.

@rakski I have seen that, too. Some new members sign up, write a few posts and then they disappear. Other become addicted and stay

It's usually because they expect to be paid for 'the time they spent working on it,' and ... it doesn't work that way

You know, some think that they get more replies if they post negative things, because the old users go there and reply. I am no more going to reply, I am going to report all of them. "Excessive complaining" is against the rules after all.

If I do not like the rules etc. at a site I keep my mouth shut and leave. He or she who writes the paycheck calls the tune. If I want to make the rules I should get busy and start a site.

when mylot restarted, you only saw a green page and have to log in to see what's inside.
now, even non members can read and browse the site all day, every day to observe what people post here and how members interact.
they don't even have to rely on reviews. they can see and read the guidelines and faq. they can browse profiles.
the only thing they can't do is like and post.
i myself do it on other sites. i visit and browse them even if i'm not a member.
i keep saying this. different sites are structured differently, so treat them differently.
then concentrate your efforts elsewhere where you're happier and where you earn more.
