Arrival Time Window Between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. YEAH RIGHT!!

So here we are waiting for the arrival of the Dish Network technician to arrive. We took this morning window because we have afternoon plans. And it is now 12:38. Not a happy camper. Little Miss is down for her afternoon nap. I am happy that she will at least be able to nap before we head to the graduation party we were invited to. But, we are still waiting for the technician to show up to fix dish. Hubby gave it a slight bump when he removed the old porch. Yeah, knocked it so hard that it bent it out of shape. Oh wait, I hear hubby talking to the technician now. Better late than never I guess. How long would you have waited for someone when they were scheduled to arrive at a certain time?

Good that he came. I have waited for them for a full day and even given them several reminder calls. I had a connection problem since last few days. At last he came Yesterday evening and fixed it up. Today it is again showing disturbances.

@ElusiveButterfly We have to live with this poor connection for some long time as metro construction is going on in our area.

I am glad he got there and I hope they don't charge you an arm and a leg for repairs. I have Spectrum cable and there is a huge war going on between them and dish and direct tv in the commercials on tv. They are so funny to watch.

Spectrum bought out TimeWarner out this way so now I have Internet and Mobile phone with them ..... I will not get cable tv, to me its a waste of money when I can get Amazon or Netflix or Hulu for so much less.

I am actually surprised that my husband wasn't on the phone with them. It made us late for the graduation party we were invited to.

I would ring them and say that unless they came soon I'd have to go out. Glad it didn't come to that for you.

Here we have no choice but to wait, we sit without power too often. I am happy the technician did eventually arrive.

It would be according to who I was waiting for. I'd hate to miss a graduation, so I would go to the graduation.

If they have a monopoly on the service, you basically have to wait. Grr.

I hate it when the cable guy says he'll be there somewhere between 9am and 5pm. How specific!

How long would I wait? Depends on whether I needed to be somewhere else at a certain time. 12:38? Maybe he's still on winter time.

I have sat around waiting all day for repair men to show up. They are notorious for not arriving on time.

That is a world wide phenomenon but yesterday was pleasantly surprised when a parcel due to arrive around 5pm arrived an hour earlier.
