Saturday morning escapade

Were you a very adventurous child? Do you recall any hair raising escapades which may have caused your parents to worry a bit?
I remember vaguely that Saturday morning many, many years ago when my two sisters - aged 7 and 8 respectively - decided to go boating. They got into a small paddle boat moored at the pier , and were off. Luckily father was alerted - he went after them in another boat and managed to head them off before they got to the open sea.
So, were you quiet, not too quiet, adventurous or very adventurous?

I was too adventurous, but never let my parents to about it! Had suffered many physical injuries as a kid but then since we used to have a Clinic for the Employees of Central Government and their family, I always used to get first aid from there and my parents wouldn't even know about it!
My favorite adventures used to be climbing the big trees (and falling from the top some times) and swimming in the natural ponds and canals !

With children one has always to be on the alert. I got into some trouble but my parents din't know about it and that was good for me.

Well our parents did not encourage us to go and meet our friends at night.
Sometimes that made us feel awkward but now we understand that it matters.

Oh, they are too adventurous but they should be careful too because what they did might cause them their dear lives. I am adventurous but I always make sure to weigh the consequences of my actions. I think I was like them when I was a kid so I experienced spanking a lot before. I used to hate my parents for that but now I totally understood them.

no dangerous adventures for me, but once, i asked permission from my parents that i and my 3 classmates will go to a cave in another town. my father did not approve of my idea. in the end, i and my classmates stayed at home and played vinyl records like The Temptations.

I was a kid often involved in some sort of misadventure, and it seems to have followed me into adulthood!

A mix of both, we climbed trees and explored overgrown areas,we once made a banana stem raft and spent the morning rafting.....Looking back it's a wonder we were not drowned.
But on the whole I would be happy with a book
