The summer "uniform"

So, I noticed today that myself as well as 90 percent of the people I saw or encountered today were wearing the summer "uniform" which consists of shorts, t shirt and flip flops. Yes, there were people who were wearing something different,,maybe sweats or some kind of jeans or clingy pants..but men and women both were wearing the above outfit. Is there a summer "uniform" where you live?

It seems to be bike gear here. Everyone seems to be dressed for competitive bike riding lol

I don't think so. We just wear whatever's comfortable for us depending on the weather.

Well, it is basically what people wear around here. This is a lake community and people are pretty casual.

I think that's probably normal for anywhere it's hot to wear tshirts shorts and flip flops. Today I have a t-shirt, skirt and flip-flops on.

It is very hot in summer here. They often wear short sleeves, shorts and sandals. Men also wear long trousers. I often wear dress in summer.

Yes, some differ..some of the workmen are wearing worker clothes etc..but the majority are off and wearing their "summer uniform."

Flip flops hurt my feet but I do wear sandals. Tank top, too, and sometimes that's a tad skimpy cause our heat can hit 90 and above. No long undies here in the summer that I've noticed.

The uniform here is warm pants and sweaters - but hopefully it won't be long before we'll be in summer uniform too.

Here, women seem to wear capris pants and a loose top with sandals or flipflops. I consider it the local summer uniform. Men, most wear jeans, some wear shorts or sweats.

Yeah, it varies a bit. I wear capris when doing something a bit more formal. Shorts are big here though. A bit warm for capris.
