New Neighbors

Do you know your neighbors? The houe next door to mine was recently foreclosed on and has been vacant or the past 8ish months. It has been nice not having neighbors for that period. No noise, no parties, no one parking in front of our house... I learned this past week that there are 2 men who have bought this house next door and they have started coming over and tinkering with different things, cleaning up the backyard, moving some old appliances out.
I am waiting in trepidation to see what type of neighbors these folks will be. Partyers? Loud domestics? Drug dealers? Or perhaps fixing it up to rent it out? Its hard not to think of worsr case scenarios as I have had some crappy neighbors, like probably most people have.
I guess time will tell.

I moved to a new home a little over 4 months ago and I don' know my neighbours at all and they don't know me. But the neighbourhood is peaceful and I like my new place.

we are living in our ancestral home since 1972 and believe it or not, we only know the old neighbors from that time. now, the newest ressidents, we don't know them.

I do not know their names but they seem to be good people who enjoy it when we give them gifts that we do not need anymore such as toys and other materials that they need.

One wants to control what we do and they live 1/2 mile or more away, the others are quiet.

We live in the woods, so we really don't have any., been that way for years. I have lived in the city, and around everything you just named, I would wonder too.

The people down the hill I know...I kind of wish I didn't. He has historically been a troublemaker in this community. I do not know the people next door as they are fairly recent arrivals. The ones across the street are rarely here as this is a second home for them. They don't really have a house just kind of store toys here..ie jetski etc.

I am very fortunate to have good neighbors. Horrible neighbors can make life miserable

I was lucky to have good neighbors when I owned my home. I live in an apartment building now, and other than saying hi to them, I don't really know them. Besides, I don't speak Spanish, which all but one of the people in my building do.
