I Canceled The Day

These are words you will not hear from me often, I canceled work today.
I woke feeling something not normal, went back to bed and woke up at 1 pm. No I had not stayed up late and no I did not do anything that should had exhausted me yesterday.
I feel fine now but its late and I still have orders to fill and mail out today, I still have to feed Tony, tend the animals and pick the vegetables in the garden.
So no hard labor that was scheduled, I called the help and told him what day we would be able to get back to work.
Now I am having my coffee with mylot, yep, breakfast at 1:30 pm. That felt weird to say/type.
How is everyone else doing? Got plans for the weekend?

Hubby has been cutting the grass. I just got home from my volunteer work at the local nursing home. Now I get to make supper.
Tomorrow I'm going to do some baking and some sewing. It's time to get into a routine....the 3 week vacation is over!

I work tomorrow and i am assuming sunday as well. I have done laundry, answered emails. Done two tasks for text broker, cleaned and mopped. Doing more cleaning.

Maybe you were around someone with a bug or whatnot and your body had to fight it off. Usually I don't make plans at all but these days I've made plans to be at mom's house on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to go through her stuff and either throw out or give away what's there. It's a slow process because of the memories so I'm taking my time.

back atcha. At least it's been 2.5 yrs since her passing so it isn't has emotionally draining as it woulda been had I tried earlier.

Hope you'll feel better tomorrow, Andria (or is it Angie?) I've been busy getting ready for our son's birthday dinner tomorrow. He and my husband are playing golf, then here to eat. I've already cooked a butterscotch pie, broccoli casserole, deviled eggs, and sugared peanuts. I'll cook the rest while the guys are gone and I'll have our grandson here to help. When I can get him off the computer, lol.

I own my own business, its my loss of a days work and the hired help, It extremely rare for me to cancel work, I work 2 full time jobs and just opened up another business that is part time.
Today was more of an emergency for my health rather than a privilege.
