Another Rainy Day

I don't know if the rain we're experiencing has anything to do with the hurricane Florence that is heading toward our coast. I don't think it does since the hurricane hasn't reached land yet. So, we're dealing with days of rain with the potential of more to come once the hurricane hits.
Thankfully I'm not anywhere near the coastline or the states where it's predicted to hit. The news is showing it to be a category 4 and already have evacuations in progress. I hope the people heed the advice to evacuate even though Florence isn't expected for another day or two.
On a more positive note things are good here today. I got another good nights sleep and it's awesome waking up feeling refreshed.
There isn't a lot of pressing things I need to do today but I do have a pile of things that need to be shredded, unload the dishwasher, move the wash to the dryer and take out something to make for dinner.
My daughter went to work so it's just me and the pups.
I'll have to wait for a break in the rain to take them out so it makes no sense to mop the floor when they'll have wet paws.
Now it's coffee time and checking in to see what's happening here.

Once again the rain passed her with barely a tiny shower. We are dry and its strange with all the rain going around this area.
I have to work today.

I am hoping that it does not rain today because I have to go and go grocery shopping and see if the hardware store near me can fix my air purifier and then hopefully home and do little and be here on the computer and watch TV.

Starting to sprinkle here as well. We need some rain because we haven't gotten much recently. I need to do something useful with my day though. Hope you have a good one.

The cool and wet weather that we experienced yesterday and over the weekend was apparently the tail end of Gordon. I don't know if you are under that cloud also.
Either way, a cloud is a cloud and usually it means a dark and dreary day often filled with showers or rain.
We have a cloudy day here today, but the sun is trying to peak out, so I'm hoping it wins sooner or later, everyone's moods will lift then.
I'm just doing a baked potato and will soon put some meat on for my hot meal-I only eat 1 big meal now that I'm back to work. I don't seem to have the time for a second meal. So I'll have a steak, mushrooms, grilled veggies and a baked potato today.

We have sun right now, but the forecast is for more rain. I believe this is the tail end of Gordon. I heard PA and CT may get some wind and rain from Florence. My lawn is looking much better! lol
I walked, hit a class at the gym, and otherwise have been busy with our holiday.

It's raining in Mauritius too. I like rain but not today. Had some work that has to be done and couldn't do them properly due to the rain. Other than that everything is going well.
