How We Age.

Gregory Peck wikipedia.

I was watching a video which showed a number of celebrities from back in the day - and how they aged. I can't say if it is genes or lifestyle- but the majority of those heartthrobs from yesteryear aged terribly. Tony Curtis who was so devastatingly handsome in his younger years , was the worst of the lot. Out of the 35 I looked at I could pick out just a small number who looked reasonably well in their eighties. Gregory Peck pictured above is one of those who aged nicely. Do you worry about losing your looks when you get old? It would be wonderful if someone invented a forever young pill.

I was a pretty little girl, then not so good for many years, then kind of blossomed in my "old age."

What age do you consider old? If you find that "forever young" pill, get two for me!

@Kandae11 I just want to make sure I get enough and that it works well. So, I 've got another ten years. It is plenty of time for someone to invent that pill. Tell them to hurry it up!

Why two? The movie stars I looked at ranged in age from 80 to 91.

@1hopefulman While they are at it, I'll tell them to add a "Turn back" pill to the mix - just in case the forever pill doesn't get here in time.

I can't figure out why, but I get better looking every day. Maybe it's my attitude.

Some men do. I prefer the way George Clooney Looks now - than he did in his younger years.

Guys usually say - look at your girlfriend's mother and you will be able to tell how she will age. However, I doubt that is a fact .

I dont worry too much. I used to ten or more years ago but I know it´s a natural process and I accept it. When one worries then it can be worrysome and. I thiunk that a person can age nicely if he or she doesn´t worry about it

It's a matter of genes, some age nicely, some do not. I was lucky, I have not changed a lot, even if I am no more like I was in my thirties.

I think it must be terrible for the famous to look back at old photos or footage. I have tried to resign myself to the fact that my looks will fade as I age but I wouldn't mind a forever young pill @Kandae11 .

A forever pill for me too. some stars do hold onto their looks and keep up their appearance. - like Sam Elliot , Sean Connery and some others - but the majority.

There are some who look great and others you wonder if they just let themselves go. Another that aged well is Sean Connery.

I have to accept it, the panacea for youthfulness is to smile a lot but don't smile alone for no reason.

I AM old and I haven't lost my looks--I look in the mirror and I see the 16 year old I was--the eyes, smile, the imp, the old before his time, etc. Okay so my hairline has receded but the gray/white hair I always wanted (and paid for the barber to spray in my temples) is there. Even with the way I abused my body with booze, food, etc., I can still smile when I see a reflection of myself (though sometimes I do wonder "Who is that guy? He looks familiar but....!") I already take 14 pills to keep me healthy and 'young'--don't need/want another pill! LOL
