Keeping a Close Eye on Florence's Ghost

In keeping with her bizarre nature, it appears Hurricane Florence may have left behind a remnant of herself that could now possibly loop around to the south past Bermuda before turning west and heading back into the Carolinas next week.
The video I've included is of US Hwy 421 into and out of Wilmington, NC as of 2 days ago. One side of the highway is completely washed away. The last thing ENC needs right now is more rain and wind.
And there is a new Tropical Storm named Kirk that just formed off the west African coast that we will have to watch.
Pray these new storms stay out to sea.
I hope y'all have a blessed Sunday. How are things in your corner of the globe?
This is HWY 421 North of Wilmington (9-21-18). Northbound lanes appear to be completely washed out. Both directions completely impassable.

The weather is constantly a concern. We had a terrific windstorm a couple days ago but there was no significant damage in our area. The last hurricane to get this far north with significant power was Earl. We came through that without much trouble.

@koopharper I know. We became complacent and Florence socked us in the gut, and then on the chin, and then kicked us while we were down.

@DWDavis Yes, you need time to dry out at least.

I have been watching. The storms generally don't come as far north as New Brunswick, but we do catch the tail end from time to time. Also, having family in the Carolinas causes us to be much more aware of these storms.

It is till the peak of the season and all of us along the Atlantic and Gulf coats need to keep eyes on the tropic (especially since there are four systems brewing)
