Something unpredictable

outlet burning

Early in the morning because I smelled like a burning rubber I checked the room, and what did I do? I touched a few electrical outlets but the one used by the Air Conditioner experienced excessive heat and immediately turned off the Air Conditioner. It looks like a letter T electrical outlet that is not strong enough to withstand electrical or no tight. If it's not fast then there might be a fire around the house. Have you predicted something will happen?

Those things should never been used to attach an Air Conditioner. I am glad this did not start a fire.

I might look for a electrical outlet that can better hold the wattage of air conditioner.

Thank goodness you found it and removed it. It is not the right thing to use and could have burned your house down.

this may happen in some homes because it is not sensitive to the situation, fortunately when waking up the cable is only in hot and smelly conditions but the plug has been melt.

@Courage7 I use a larger cable and a strong plug that retains Air Conditioner load.

It's good you noticed it earlier or else it could cause the fire in your house. You save your homes and your family's memories.

I use the best accessories in the home electrical system. I think you should also do it to avoid bad things that may happen.

not as scary like a few years ago, since garbage was burned by sunlight. Hopefully now the solution is completely solved, after all connection are replaced and tightened.

That's great you caught it before a fire happened. At a place I worked at, I once had a feeling that something bad was going to happen that day. A fire happened. A small one. A guy set the temperature of a machine too high.

yes, lucky not to get burned and indeed people who carelessness can also be very dangerous. Because if there is already a spark, it will be very quickly spread and the water will be hard to extinguish it.
