It's cold outside

Yes, it's cold outside. so cold that we saw some snow falling. Not to happy to see that. But I guess that's nature for you. I guess winter is coming. it's just coming sooner than I would like. We'll have to get our winter stuff. we'll have to go shopping for those, as our kids' stuff from last year don't fit them anymore. So, we'll have to just deal with it. Oh well, that's what happens when you live in a place where you have winter and cold weather.

Snow! There nothing here at this time. Yes, it is wise to prepare as it won't be long but hopefully it will.

Thankfully, nothing is staying to the ground, and it was more flurries than anything else, but still … definitely worth starting to get ready now. Or pretty darn soon.

@dodo19 I missed seeing the snow as I didn't look out the window till I saw your post. I'll be going out soon and experience the cold but I'm going to be all bundled up.

Our first cool down of the season came last night, and will stick around for about two weeks it looks like. It's been nice enough that I turned off the air conditioner and opened all the windows in the house. I love the smell of fall!

fall can definitely be a nice time of the year. I love seeing the leaves change colour and such. I just don't like what happens after.

@moffittjc I love seeing the leaves change colours. It's so beautiful. i wish our fall was actually winter. I'd be happy if it didn't get so cold. i'd be okay if it got mild.

@dodo19 I wish we had the colorful leaves like you have. But our leaves don't really change colors, except maybe going from green straight to brown. Thankfully, we don't really get the "what happens after" part here in Florida. Your fall is probably what our winters feel like.

I wish I hadn't seen it. I don't mind the snow so much. It's more the freezing temperatures that I don't like.

@Janet357 I prefer the warm summer. Sure heatwaves aren't always pleasant, but I prefer the warm weather over the freezing weather.

Yes we saw snow a few days ago too. It was so depressing and it's cold here too. Today wasn't too bad I guess we lucked out. Unfortunately, winter keeps poking its nose out.

It definitely was depressing to see some snow. Not pleasant at all. Winter is definitely coming. I wish we didn't have to deal with cold or freezing winters, but we don't have much choice.

Winter here begins in december. We still have some moths ahead. The temperature here starts to change during these months and we get the lowest temperatures during January and February

Winter is supposed to start in December here too. However, that doesn't mean that Mother nature is always following this. hopefully, it only starts to feel like winter in December.

I don't think they really noticed. It's more like flurries than actually snow, but still … Nothing is staying to the ground. But still a sign than winter is coming.

I don't know the feeling of having a 4 seasons include the snow thing.. I live for 2 seasons only.. wet and dry.. even if it's wet season I can still feel the 32 degrees heat.

Some places only have two seasons. Each place is different, which is fine. Nothing wrong with that.
