Now usually there will be advertisement before the movie in the cinema. Usually it will last about five minutes. It is OK. After all, it is available before the movie is on. So even if you go to the cinema earlier, you won't be very bored because you can watch the advertisement

Ii guess that is their source of other earnings besides the ticket sales. I have no problems with that for as long as they are shown either before the show or after the show. I would be annoyed if they would place it in the middle of the show.
