I think I have seen or heard odd stories each day , but this tops it! Some guy on YouTube says the Earth is Pear Shaped , LOL , can you believe that? When I saw that, I really felt like I have entered The Twilight Zone! Remember that show? Aren't some people crazy?
Neil deGrasse Tyson says the earth is not really a sphere but more of an oblate. He then goes on and says the earth is chubbier below the equator and is more...

That is elementary modern geography teaching that the Earth is not a true sphere but an oblate spheroid (which, in layman's language, means that it's pear shaped). Of course, the difference is so small that, to all intents and purposes it's a sphere but, even so, it's slightly fatter south of the equator than it is in the North, like a pear.

@marguicha I don't know about 'more'. As you know, our planet is a few billion years old and when one gets old, parts of us tend to migrate 'south' without necessarily getting any 'more'!

We have heard everything about our planet since the time when people thought that they had to be careful not to fall into an abyss when they were in a ship.

What is scary is how some people have no discernment and will believe anything they read.

Well, he isn't completely wrong. The earth isn't completely round nor it is a sphere since it is very I guess wobbly in shape. How do we have different sizes of mountains and ground levels? I am not sure about it being a pear or being bigger at the equator but it still isn't a perfect sphere and it absolutely isn't flat.

Well, the idiom "when things go pear shaped" means when they fail...

I watched a video by him and thought he is out there, very odd. Like you said, and yes one of my top 10 all time favorite shows, he's in the Twlight Zone.
