~Blessing In Disguise~

Hey everyone I hope you're doing well! Things are good here. My Father loves you and wants you to know Him. :)
Today has been such a productive day. I got so much done and so did the kids with their school work.
The biggest blessing came today. I got my laptop charger-but that wasn't the blessing. I was excited about getting it finally and being able to use my laptop!! I plug it in and bam! My screen is busted, most likely from the move. 
I was so disappointed.
Here's the blessing though...My children planned a secret gift telling each other they would use their Christmas money they get each year to buy me a new laptop screen! 
They told me their plan all excited and I told them how sweet that was but that money is for them to use to get something they want. They are still insisting the screen is what they will buy.
Sometimes the blessing isn't at all what we're expecting!! 
My babies once again made me a very proud momma!! =)

I'm feeling really low from an emotionally exhausting day, and then I read your post title.
I knew that I needed to read this post first.
And it has put a smile on my face and lifted my heart a little bit closer to where it needs to be.
I'll just tell you this Jenn, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, your kids did exactly what you would do for them. Santa Claus IS love, and they are demonstrating that loud and clear.
As I like to say, their Momma raised them right.

@LovingMyBabies I know when my children were little, they kept me humble and grounded. They also reminded me that the greatest riches in the world can be found in the small and simple things. What a blessing they are.
