I am not sure if I would call this dinner time but around 3:30 pm I finally got something to eat.
What I ordered fed three people and two dogs. Let me explain.
We both ordered the $5 fill ups from KFC, I got the three chicken finger box and Tony got the Breast box. Both came with diet Pepsi.
Neither me or Tony can eat the biscuits, they just jack the blood sugar to much so both dogs got a biscuit and they got the bones.
I did not drink my diet pepsi or eat the cookie, Tony did not eat his cookie either.
I stopped by Publix, they have cranberry juice bogo, and my friend was working, she came out to hug Tony and I gave her the cookies and she got my drink. She told me that was the perfect snack for her 10 minute break.
If I get hungry later, and I am sure I will, I will have a salad as planned.
That is how three people and two dogs are off two $5 fill ups.
What did you have for dinner.

I had pork chop and macaroni and cheese. Not the best, but I am not throwing that macaroni out.

@wolfgirl569 Diabetes is very individual. I do much better eating potatoes than any other carb. I did receive some whole grain rotini and hubby does not eat pasta at all. I am going to make some small portions of rotini with sauce for when I need a carb fix, as I think it is better than some of the other snacks I have.

Sounds like a good meal, and good way to split it between three people and 2 dogs.

Princess got Bob's leftovers at noon. He took it outside to scrape it for the wild critters, but she surprised us and ate the beef with beans and rice, and a small bit of cornbread. It is so hard to balance that love of bread with what it does to my body.

I did not have dinner. For lunch I had a bean and it was enough for me.
