Christmas Tree - Tree
I have an artificial one as well. Have 2 actually, depending on my mood each year which one I'll use. I don't want the hassle of a real one, and I just can't see killing a tree for a month's worth of "joy". Sorry, that's the tree hugger in me lol.

I don't buy real trees because I'm sfraid that it might cause my house to burn down.

I have an artificial tree so I don't have to mess with getting a new tree every year. The artificial ones are less of a fire hazzard as well. I just burn a nice pine candle and nobody knows the difference.

We always buy our christmas trees. Now though my family has a forest surrounding our house so we might be able to cut down our own, but I am not sure my mom would be too happy about that. I know this came up a few years ago in our old town because people cut their own trees and the village fined them. Even though the trees were on their own property they had to get approval from the village first and pay a fee.

In the past I choose to get if from forest...but it's a pity to kil a tree to be happy in Christmas and let it die after Xmas. Because all tree, if not in full terrain, die :-(. So now every Christmas we use an artificial tree!

We have an artificial tree so we don't have to buy one every year. But before we bought that, maybe 15 years ago or so, my father just chops a branch off a tree in our yard, then we take all the leaves out, then decorate it as we please. There was even a time when we glued cotton all over. ^__^ Our Christmas tree looked different every year, because we get to experiment with it. But now with the artificial tree, it looks pretty much the same every year. But it looks really good, 'cause it's a big tree, and since we're older, we liked something decent.

I work for an HIV/AIDS organization in Penns. I am looking for a Retro 1960's silver Christmas tree. We are putting together a Retro Christmas party for sponsors and are adding our agencies children's name to the trees for gifts. Otherwise these children would not have a gift for Christmas. So please hlep me locate one if you have one to donate, that would be great. Get back to me a Mikestpete@aol.com. Thanks in advance
