Too much to discuss last few days

So, the hits just keep coming. Been miserable with the weather and breathing like so many others here lately. Digestion problems like so many friends here too. Just makes you wonder what's going on with our planet. and all of us in it here. Depression with us all and we keep trying to cheer each other up with all we can.
Top it off, we are getting evicted for no particular reason. Our neighbors too so we are thinking they are trying to maybe tear down these old houses that are nearly unlivable and make new better ones so they can charge more rent. The dirty slum lords. and as it is rent is so high it takes most everything you get. Food is so high you can't eat good unless you grow and preserve , and cook a lot. those that can do the cooking and able are too busy working their butts off for rent money
and for co-pays for medical and medications. so you can feel better cause of not eating right and stress. 
So here we be in a vicious circle.
Had to give up so much, not much more to give. Gave up Netflix now cause they took out money and over drawn my account ahead of time. Thank goodness I had a bit of less confusion and lucid mind to call them and my bank and got the mess straightened out. over draw fixed. as they say why would any place charge more money for not having enough money in there already
Gave up a Network and phone I loved for a cheaper rate.
So there you have it. why I been putting off posting. Cause I know I will get told count my blessings. 
Daughter bought me candy for Valentines 
and I am still alive though miserable
so there, my blessings.

It's true, you (we all) should always count the good things. BUT doing so doesn't change the bad that's happening. And im so sorry you have so much bad going on.

you too sweetheart. I do think though that if we are not in physical pain like with your stomach aches that it is easier to concentrate on good or solutions. but it is a vicious circle really. depression and stress leads to physical pains more and vice verses.

@bunnybon7 id have to disagree. As even when i didnt have the pains, it was still hard to always think of the good. And my pains arent from anything stress or depression related.
But i know for some thats how it is.

Bonnie you said a mouthful and I for one appreciate your integrity in just stating how it is without all the rosy glasses euphemisms. It's my considered opinion that there is no wrong at all in seeing your own situation clearly, how else are you gonna keep going if you don't.
Having said all that I do wish for you some relief from stress and worry. May you find something worthy in or behind all of it.

thank you lovely Anna. my daughter got me the candy i think to cheer me up since i have no one else sending or giving me anything on those days. she is such a sentilmentle little thing.

aaww! you are so sweet. I can not believe how nice and generous and wonderful most people are on mylot. what a wonderful community we have here. when we need prayer or help of any kind to feel better about this world we should always come here. thank you. wish I could live near you too. and most of our lovely friends here1 person likes this

What an awfiul situation you are in Bonnie, I am sincerely sorry. Can they evict you without good reason? I don't think they would be able to do that in England, there are laws protecting tenants. Sending good wishes and love your way, I hope things improve for you soon.

oh sweetheart lady that you are. such kind thoughts. even after what you are going through with your loss.
as far as laws there are but landlords have figured ways like almost any you rent you have to pay not only first months rent but your last months rent for whatever that may be,
supposedly that is in case you skip out owing which won't happen . see? they have to give you 30 days in other words a months notice that you have to move. if you ask me, those 2 things only covers the landlord though. since they already have that last 30 days rent. which is why it's hard to have enough to pay to move too.
plus they don't have to give you a reason.

all we have here is my daughter , myself , and her bf.
he does have his mother but they have managed to freeze her out of their lives. although i still talk with her some on the phone so she knows whats going on with her son. i guess daughter is supposed to be looking and says she has friends to help. all i can do is hope

Financially things are bad for lots of people. I am sorry you are going through this. I hope your family will be able to find a decent place to live that is not too expensive. I like the picture of you. You look pretty!

Oh my gosh. On top of all the other stuff, I am stunned about the eviction. I sure hope you can find a new place very soon. As for the blessings, sometimes there are blessings in disguises - maybe a change could be a good thing and work out for the better. How wonderful your daughter got you candy for Valentines - I know chocolate perks me up . Lots of hugs out your way . . . !

yes it is pretty bad but they have charged us so much rent that you would think they could have fixed more. i mean they covered up so much bad in it before we moved in.

Life is really getting difficult for many people. It does seem odd that you are being evicted.

Hi its nice to see a photo of you .. I suffer from depression myself i have good days and bad days i do thank God for everyday good and bad.. Even when sometimes i don't feel like it .. I live by myself and sometimes i feel so alone .. Mylot is an escape for me to take my mind off my own problems and vent sometimes too.. It helps seeing the same people here and there kind words do help .. Everybody has problems.. I hope things get better for you..

it does get very lonely living alone. 2 more people live here but sometimes it's like i live alone. If I can get one to come bring me something they rush in my room and out. they pretty much stay in their room , the living room, or back porch when not gone some where. only time one will sit and talk a minute is if they want something i have. I can barely walk even with my walker so that is the problem, plus I am on oxygen so have to watch my tubing don't get tangled i am such a mess and yes everyone has so many problems these days. we all have to keep praying for each other. i find that does wonders
