My little isn't feeling well

I got a call yesterday morning from my son's daycare. He wasn't himself and had fallen asleep on the couch, which really isn't like him. So, I went to pick him up. Got back home at 10:15. And 15 minutes later he was asleep on our couch. As the day went on, he just got warmer and warmer. He clearly had a fever and told me that his head was hurting. Gave him some tylenol to help. He slept most of yesterday. I didn't stop him. Since he's still a bit warm this morning, I'm going to just keep him home. Let him rest and feel better. It's hard to see your kids really not feel well.

@amitkokiladitya He seemed better yesterday. He's still sleeping as it is still night at the moment. But as I said, he was better yesterday, so that's a good sign.

Yes, I definitely did let him rest. He slept a lot on Thursday, and a little yesterday (Friday). If he fell asleep, I didn't bother him. He did seem a bit better yesterday though.

it's always hard when kids are sick. Whether it's mine or other kids, it always makes me sad. he's slowly getting better. He was a lot more like himself yesterday.

I totally feel you. I'm not a person who worries a lot but when it comes to my son, I just can't have peace until he's well and better. Hope he gets better soon.

It is really hard when it's our own kids who are sick. I don't like it when any kid is sick, but it's a little different when it's our own. thankfully, he's slowly getting better.

I don't think it ever gets easy to see your kids sick. But that's life. Sometimes, we're going to get sick.

Awww, poor guy. I hope he gets better fast. Nothing bothered me more than seeing my kids sick when they were little. I just wanted to take the sickness away from them and put it on myself instead. It always hurts my heart to see little ones suffering.

Thankfully, he's feeling a lot better. And I know what you mean. I really hate seeing a kid that's not feeling well. I feel the same way you do. It's really hard.

It is, when my son was little he seemed to get a lot of ear infections. Thank God he finally grew out of them.

Little ones can come down with a bug so quickly can't they? I think that you're right to let him sleep this off, hopefully he'll feel himself again soon.

Yes, they can definitely get something quick. He seemed fine when he woke up on Thursday, but that changed quick. When they're sick, sometimes sleep does help. If he's not feeling well, is tired, and really needs to sleep, I don't see the point in bothering him.

Thank you. When they're not well, I usually just let them sleep, if and when they do fall asleep. If they're not well, I know sleep will help often times. He's slowly getting better.
