My husband is sick

I don't know what happened with my husband this night. He woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible headache and not feeling very well and he threw up more than once.
I spent a great part of the night awake to help him.
Despite this, in the morning he decided to go to work (he is a teacher) but he couldn't eat the breakfast and I spoke with him a few minutes ago and he has already threw up again 
I phoned our doctor and she said it can be a virus as only him is not well.
Let's see how he goes through the day and if later he isn't better yet, we'll go to see a doctor.
So today I am feeling tired and sleepy, maybe I need another coffee to stay awake.

I´m so sorry! Your husband should not go to work if he is as sick as you have described. Take care.

@marguicha neither do I but he insisted in going to school. Probably he got the virus there

Well, a little better than that, 
but not great..having issues with my internet provider..and there does not seem to be a good alternative either..at least not that I can afford.I hope your husband feels better and the rest of you don't get sick!

My Friday was okay, I hope yours was too. I spent most of the day working and cleaning the house. I hope your husband is doing better now...

Hello, @nela13, as you say, you may be infected with some intestinal virus, if this is the case, you probably have a couple of bad days. I can suggest you drink 7up, montainDew, gingerale, or a similar lemon-based drink. It works well for me and my family in similar situations. Of course visit your doctor
