Women - what do you do while waiting for your husband to come back from work?

Hmm, I don't think I'm ever bored and all the kids are now at school but I swear there still isn't enough time in the day to get everything done. I work part time from home, then theres the cooking, then theres the house work, there seems to be always SOMETHING ... oh, and shop on the internet :o)

i have 3 kids, so between housework and them, i stay pretty busy

I don't have that much time to get bored! If my partner's working late, I usually do a bit of housework, read a book and go on here for a bit but if he's working in the day, I've got my baby son at home with me all day and my other son when he finishes school so there is always something to do. I come here for a break!

Play with my daughter, cook, clean, watch television, use the internet.

I get home from work after my husband does.

I am working for home, boring is not part of my life. Day is short anyway. To short for me to think about it.

well i have a house full of kids and pets, so i always have plenty to do. I spend my free time here. i really like this site. its fun to be here.

When I lost my job and hubby would go off to work, I was bonkers. After cleaning the house and showering, I would find myself on the internet. A good friend of ours who lives in Holland (we are in the USA) would go on Skype to keep me company. If not for her talking with me throughout the day I would have gone nuts.

I take care of the kid's and his father. He usually come's home late so we are all relaxing by that time.

I work full time and I only get home about 30 minutes before my partner. I love having some quiet time before he gets home, it's nice to be able to sit and relax with a cup of tea and go on the internet for a while, or I use the time to start preparing tea. I do know what you mean though about feeling bored through the day though, I used to be a student and spent most of my time studyng at home while my partner when out to work, there where times when the day seemed to drag until he got home. I used to browse the web, watch tv, play on my xbox, go for a walk, or cook to relieve the boredom. How about signing up for a correspondence course or finding a hobby to help you fill your days?

sometimes I get bored too because of the everyday routine....cooking, taking care and playing with my baby, browse/check mails/play games on the internet, watch movies, read books...i do add some hobbies from time to time, i'm into photography now I know not having kids can somehow be boring at home, get a pet or just start a new hobby =)

I usually wash the dishes, clean house, cook, and be on the computer. I also read my bible and some other books.
