Limitations

Yes, life can change things suddenly for anyone of us and some things that we enjoyed doing may not be possible anymore. I have been told that we can't stop the wind from blowing but we can adjust the sails and some adjustments may not be what we wanted.

The weather is great at the moment, we have storm's rolling in for later. I hope the pain leaves soon and that you get feeling better.

You are not a complainer nor a Debbie Downer. You will heal and soon. It is gorgeous here today, but I have been stuck inside texting back and forth with my son and his wife since returning from golf. They are out looking at furniture for their sitting room, and I can't even begin to tell you how many pieces I've seen and how many fabric samples I've been shown. I'm crosseyed at this point. My nephew and his girlfriend flew in from NYC last night, so we have been invited to dinner at my brother's place tonight. I can't wait to see them! My nephew has been texting me all day, too. Now he wants to see a comedian at a comedy club. I just don't know. Make I will lock myself in a closet for the rest of the day!

My day is about over. I've mostly been writing today and reading what others have written. I did get a load of laundry done. It's seemed like April weather here today. First it was cloudy. Then sunny. Then it poured. It was sunny again and bright before the sun set. I'm sorry about your limitations. My husband is still feeling pain in his leg and if he doesn't take Aleve he still has to use a cane or walker to move around. I hope both of you heal soon.

It's beautiful here today, warm and sunshine. I'm praying your recovery will go well and quickly! But it's good you have patience and things to keep your interest.

I understand you 100%, I was like a caged wild animal when I fell last year and hurt my ankle. I learned to do most things sitting down for several weeks. But I had a rental house to get done because I had a new tenant waiting, I had to work. The worst part were stairs, I would sit down and butt walk up them, or down.

@CarolDM It looks like rain here today. It is Sunday here in Israel. Limitations are hard to deal with and I hope your knees will heal soon.

We all have some limitations. I am glad that you are keeping up your positive spirit. Weather here is getting too hot.

Today is not a good day at all. Sitting here having to take it easy as I am in too much pain plus somehow have a really Bad cold even with being on an Antibiotic for something else.

Yes, you will just have to take your time and let it heal. It's better than overdoing it, and having a relapse. Nothing really planned, but I am going to make a Greek lemon soup.
