Do you have topping on your ice cream? Do you have a favorite?

I don't usually have topping on my ice cream since ice cream is fattening enough alone, and I usually eat too much of it, when I have it. If I do have a topping though, I really like hot fudge, hot caramel, butterscotch and peanut butter toppings I also enjoy. These days I feel that if i get them on frozen yogurt..it is not as quite as destructive..Do you enjoy toppings, or have a favorite?

Oh wow,,, how interesting...I never tried licorice on ice cream..How is it? I do enjoy peanuts and chocolate sauce..If you want something delicious try what they call a CMP. Chocolate, marshmellow and peanuts.

@Torunn I saw something on TV I think Denmark is big into licorice.. It isn't quite as popular here

@snowy22315 I always have hot chocolate with marshmellows and cream when I visit a friend of mine in Helsinki. Perfect no matter what season it is.
Liquorice is salty, or I prefer the salty version on icecream, 'cause then you get sweat ice-cream and salty sprinkles.

I will sometimes add walnuts to my ice-cream, but very rarely. I do not add anything to my frozen yogurt.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Do you mean the wet walnuts, or just regular old walnuts? I don't think frozen yogurt would be that good with plain walnuts.

@snowy22315 We have sweet frog here, I go to a place called Zack's, they do frozen yogurt. I've tried putting walnuts in FROYO before but wasn't impressed.

Nothing wrong with a good vanilla ice cream. I prefer it over chocolate.

@LadyDuck Just plain chocolate by itself..doesn't do that much for me, but I like it when it is chocolate mixed with something like chocolate marshmellow or rocky road for instance.

I like whipped cream on top of the topping..like on a sundae of some sort.
