Yes, I am. We are currently in my in-laws house now. We voted here yesterday and would want the kids to spend a little more time with their grandparents. Unfortunately for me, I was not able to sleep properly here. The first night, I was still up at 1:00am, I was awaken at 3:00am and finally gave up sleeping at 5:30am. Last night, I was up again until 1am and was awaken by the fireworks at 4:30am. I still have energy enough for today but I think we need to go home asap. How are you all doing today?

That usually happens when you are at a place that you are not used to staying. If you will stay longer there your body may adjust but then if you will be leaving soon then your problems will be solved already as you go home.

It's not sound sleeping when you sleep away from home. I wake up wondering where I am and that momentary shock keeps me up a bit. Hope you get home soon so you get your real sleep.

I was not able to have a complete sleep well last night, thinking if those that I have voted would be in the final lists of winners on their respective positions...so now I have seen the results although not yet 100 percent over...I think I can have a nap or continue sound sleep... thanks that it is generally peaceful election...

@rakski but 4:30 am is too early and inconsiderate. they sound too eager to celebrate.

Who on earth is setting off fireworks at 4:30. That is ridiculous. I hope you get some sleep later!

Is that because you can't sleep on any other bed except your own?

I think I can understand your sleepless situation. It is really hard to sleep if it is not our own house.
