My Friend's Birthday

My friend down the hall has a birthday today. When I got up from my morning nap and still trying to figure out if I was okay, she called to ask if I wanted to go with to Wal-Mart. I said sure as soon as I was done eating. Eating went well and we left.
Tonight, we're going out to eat. She wants to celebrate her birthday with me, no one else. I feel so privileged. When we got home from Wal-Mart in which she twisted my arm with a two pack dark chocolate Milky Way candy bar, we played a couple of games at her place. I won at checkers, and then we played Sorry. Revenge Sorry as I really hoped to win this time as last time we played, I won zero out of four games. Today, I lost zero for two. At least I won at checkers.
So, we'll be going to Julies for steak tonight at 6. In the meantime, I'm going to get back to a book. I really need to work on something today. Especially with the new tips, I posted a couple of hours ago on Time Management. I'm in the chair, I better get to work.

My day is going good. Just hanging out doing myLot and maybe some Youtube to break up the excitement. I am ultra hot and thirsty. I need water after I had several cans of soda pop. The water here tastes so nasty, I hate to try to drink it. I could use some time management strategies. You should post some as others also might benefit.

I did a post on time management on the writing tips yesterday. I still need to write the tips for today. Do you drink bottled water? I won't drink tap here either even though they say it's okay.

It brought a smile on my face when I read this post. No matter how old we grow, it is fun to celebrate birthday with a special friend. Glad that you both had a good time.
Now back to serious work. Hope you could do some part on your book work.

It sounds like fun to me, even if you lost. Today was OK. I stayed in today though which is never really that exciting. I will tommorrow too. It is going to be hot, and then storms likely.
