A song I particularly like is “Keep on Loving You” by REO. It is a soft rock ballad that was recorded by REO Speedwagon in 1980. This was the first song by the band to break the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and by March of 1981, it was at number one. The song went on to be certified Platinum, selling over a million copies in the U.S.

Hi Infidelity. A real turning point towards a more Pop style for REO. I liked that album but not much of anything they did afterwards.

I graduated from HS in 1981. I was a big fan of REO and this song. We saw them in concert with Styx about 6 years ago. It was an excellent show!

Me too I love it and often hear this song on the radio station I listen to, KKOL 107.9 on my local radio dial, FM of course. 
The instrumental part of the song is sooo nice aside of the very wonderful lead singer's voice!

I was a Junior in High School when this song came out, and one of my all time favorites from REO Speedwagon. Sometimes I really miss some of the stuff from the 80s

I educated myself in music during my teens and upwards and found that I loved oldies and the music up to around the 90s and then they kind of lost me with all the new artists so I keep listening to my favorites @KrauseHome

I remember this well, it was a hit in my high school days. I used to take a transistor radio in to school every Tuesday (I think it was) because that was when the new chart was announced, my friends and I would listen to the show at lunch time.
