Would you consider getting a household robot?

I think at some point every household will have robot. Robots are available now, but honestly, they seem like they are something like an walking Amazon echo. They can take pictures and video though, and generally look kind of cute. They are not inexpensive though..but look for them to become Black Friday specials soon. I know I do.

I wish I had one that would load and unload the dishwasher, or fold the laundry! That would be awesome.

@amitkokiladitya I like to cook, so I don't care about the robot doing that, but dishes afterwards would be nice.

I so look forward to the time when robots are more available with more features. I think it will definitely be something that I invest in. I don't have one that takes pictures but i have the echo dot and I have a robot vacuum and one that is does light mopping. I prefer robots that will assist us in some areas of life that is practical for me. I'm looking forward to what else comes out in the future.

I have a robot vac too..but it has some hair or something wound around it's rollers..so it is not really working. It needs to be cleaned out. I do have an eco dot which is fun.

@snowy22315 yeah the Echo for at near. I'm not the type of person to have the pages phone or electronic like that but I definitely enjoy electronics that help around the house since paying for someone to help around the house is too costly.

It would be fun to have one with long arms that could reach stuff on top of the cabinets and so forth.

@snowy22315 And it would know how to fix anything and everything. And it would know how to drive. So it could do all the shopping and be a chauffeur when you don't feel like driving.

Well, my idea of a Robot reminds me of Rosie from The Jetsons who could cook and clean, etc. Would be nice to have something like that. Especially for cleaning

Scrubbing the tub, folding clothes, and scrubbing the tolilet would be my favorite robot activities.
