If you oppose something from one culture or another, keep your bad attitude at a lower altitude. bury it in the dirt where it belongs.
I have been on myLot a long time and I have learned something here. People are generally good and friendly. If you run across somebody who thinks they can get away with being a bully, a name caller or promoting hate or hostility know this, it will not be tolerated and of course, I will keep an eye out for it.
Read my lips. Be nice. myLot is a safe place to talk about good things with good people. This is what sets us above all the rest .

Good advice. I agree with you. Be your genuine self without putting others down even if you do not always agree. It is important to represent your beliefs well and will speak louder than arguments and hate in the long run. I have been here a long time.

I agree with you. Mylot is one of the calmest, nicest sites on the Internet--I follow my mother's advice from many years ago--never discuss religion or politics and in most cases I still follow that rule. I do break it once in a while such as when I am 'attacked' in not very hidden way regarding my being Gay or against Gay people but even then I don't 'attack' as I would on another site. :O)
As positive a person as I am sometimes I get hurt and respond without thinking but I try to avoid discussions that might rile me up but I will defend someone else who may be attacked. It is a reflex from being an activist for 67 years.
