Moms on vacation for a few weeks

Saturday morning my mom left to go to Florida with her boyfriend for 18 days.
My daughter boy friend came over from 2-6pm.
My boyfriend dropped by with a bottle of delicious Red Cat Sangria for me and Whisky for him. He got really drunk and was so annoying and not even making sense the things he was saying. My daughter and her friend thought it was hilarious. I did not!
My dog was sitting on my boyfriends lap and my daughters friend put his hand out to try and pet her and she bit at him. She’s never bit anyone before this. My boyfriend thinks she was trying to protect him. I felt terrible she did that.
Sunday my kids and I went grocery shopping and a few other places. My son has been a ukulele so we went to Guitar Center. They were very helpful and nice there. My son used money that he has been saving and bought one. He loves it! The photo was taken inside Guitar Center.

Why do you put up with this guy anyway? One time I was holding my dog, and somebody tried to take him to pet him and he snapped at her. I think insecure pets react like that.

My exhusband loves that place I told him for every guitar he got he had to be me a piece of jewelry he did. Sorry to hear about the doggoing after your daughters friend.

@Tina30219 I’d have to drive ten miles to check at the closest one. The rest are all 30 miles away near Walmart.

@Tampa_girl7 I thought so too. This wall is all ukuleles which are smaller then guitars. They had so many guitars on other walls it was neat to see some of them. The most expensive one we saw in the room was $2700.

@averygirl72 yeah my mom has my dad and a boyfriend. Read my comment to DianneN it explains a little more. My dad is only allowed to be with her ... unfair!

@LadyDuck she tried to bite him. He either pulled his hand back to fast or she didn’t really want to bite him but just to warn him. I’m not sure but I am so thankful he didn’t actually get bit. His parents might have been mad if he come home with a bite on his hand.

The dog biting at them definitely isn't good. I hope that doesn't happen again.

@Courtlynn a few minutes later when she was on the ground she ran right up to him for treats. She never gets that close to anyone. I looked for muzzle to buy her at Walmart but they didn't have any.
He's really excited but the pitch of it is bothering my nerves. I have him practice in his room then to perform for me after. He keeps going up for a few minutes then coming down and playing for me. I feel bad noise bothers me so much. He's really good how fast he picks up things musically.

Did your son buy an expensive one? Once, I thought I would get one at about a few hundred dollars (so that I could learn to play it too), but in the end, I didn't. (The store closed on the day I came. Later, my niece, who wanted the ukulele in the first place, changed her mind, she didn't want one any more.)

@shaggin I play guitar, and still wonder if I should learn ukulele for fun. I think they are similar instruments. The problem is, the day has 24 hrs, and my energy or motivation for anything seems to just disappear. (I am trying to play piano and guitar again these days, "when in doubt, back to the basic"
- so far so good, but the idea of getting a ukulele is there sometimes...)
