Another view of a previous lounge room

Here is another photo of the huge lounge room that we had in one of the houses we lived in. The bar which I mentioned in a previous post is on the left-hand side but can’t be seen in this photo. We had a pool table which came with the house as did the two lounge chairs.
The pole in the middle of the photo at the rear held artificial flowers which I quite liked at the time. We had our computers set up in here too.
The other rooms were quite small but we did love this big lounge.

A large room in a house is great for gatherings. It’s lovely.
Our house is rather large, and that’s one reason we don’t want to sell it.
Both hubs and I enjoy room to roam around.
Our condo in Florida is much smaller by comparison, but it’s the largest of units there.
The upkeep is a breeze and it is my little dollhouse.

when I had my own house yrs ago we had a pool table too and darts and a small table and chairs on the side

That is a lovely large space.
I remember the days when computers and the internet were fairly new, and as parents we were cautioned to keep an eye on our children when they were online. We had a computer desk area in our family room, but only 1, not 2 as you did.
I'm sure that your family spent many precious times in that big room.

We were both working full time back then and I had a cleaner come in once a fortnight so that helped.
