A Ride In The Rain

Happy Wednesday Everyone! it's a rainy day here in my little corner of the myLot world.
I really didn't want to get up this morning. I guess because it was dark and dreary outside I just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep.
but....
There were things to do today so I forced myself to get out of bed, showered, dressed, coffee etc.
The big thing was to pick up an order at Sams Club.
Since it was raining we decided to take the highway and going that way makes the trip a little less than 20 minutes. When it nice out taking the back roads is a much nicer ride but today we just wanted to get there and get it done.
Now we're home and can let the day just happen.
We got a nice bag of russet potatoes so you know I'm having a baked potato for dinner tonight. Haven't gotten any further than that but loading it up might just be a good idea ( bacon, cheese). yum!!
We also got two huge heads of cauliflower so that will be roasted at some point. Don't know if it will be tonight but they certainly look good (all snowy and white).
Everything is unpacked and put away so it's time for another cup of coffee.
Hopefully it will give me some energy cause I'm really dragging today.

Sam's has great produce . I also got red grapes , spring salad mix and a big bag of croutons.
I can't believe you were up so early.

@Marilynda1225 Enjoy your yummies. We still have red and green grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe, romaine, arugula, English cakes, mushrooms, etc. and one plum left. Tonight I will be making a huge, rainy day dinner. 
I will order tomorrow or Friday for more goodies.

Here we go again with the opposite weathers - not a drop of rain here, but lots of heat! Those warehouse trips can be exhausting - good to get it done and out of the way (that is a tomorrow trip for me). The kids have just clocked into their online classes . . . so now it's time for me to get house things done before their breaks. Hope you have a great rest of the day!

@Marilynda1225 How rainy is it there? I can only dream of summer rain. I am just glad we are schooling at home. For us, summer may not end for a while still . . . usually stays pretty warm well into fall. But yes, time has flown by for sure!

I am always happy when I am home these days from being out with the virus around us. Today is Thursday here and I am working at the computer and watching TV and waiting for the time to go by so can feed my cat and then me and waiting for my doctor to hopefully call me.

I worked until 2 today and then changed really quickly and headed over to the next town for an appointment. I am home now with my feet up myLotting for a bit before I have to start supper.
While I was driving to my appointment, I went a bit too fast and that causes my turbo booster to throw a code, so now my check engine light is on. I will take it out to a mechanic that I know that will reset it for me and I will just remember no going over 100km/hr. The car doesn't have many km's on it so I hate to replace it at this stage of my life, so will just keep on babying it.

Not much here today, rested up some more, had a hot bath, been working on here off and on the last 3-4 hours, as well as got a return thing printed and box packaged up. plus mom got pizza and fries for dinner so ate that.
