The Whole Family Are In Quarantine

This morning, there are some policemen and barangay officials who gathered to our new neighbors and they are next to our house. I am a bit in a panic because of thinking differently. Assuming that they are positive Covid-19. In the long run, we found out that they are doing contact tracing. They claimed no one has this virus. Since they are new in the neighborhood, the officials need to impose 14 days of quarantine on them. If you were in my shoes, are you going to panic? Image Credit: quickanddirtytips.com

I do think we don't have any infected here in my neighborhood. The local barangay unit assured us of this matter today.

Well l think no need to panic if none of them will have to have any symptoms and they follow the protocols imposed on them. If they are near your place just make sure to sanitize your place and avoid having contact with them during the quarantine period. I have been positive and none of my neighbors got it when we quarantined ourselves.

@Shavkat Anything that has vitamin c and zinc will help your immunity boosted up. Some says magnesium can also help. I guess you are safe just staying in your balcony unless the house that is quarantined is very close to yours.

@rsa101 Thank you for the information. I assumed that the neighbor's husband is being infected since I cannot see him lately.

I do agree with you. With this matter, I asked my mother and niece not to go out even on the balcony for now. Can I ask something? What kind of vitamins is being prescribed to you to use? If I may ask...

I would be if I were in constant contact with them. Then again I hardly meet anyone due to work. Can't say the same about Mom though. But lately she's more into her dramas rather than going out. So I could say we're pretty much safe. I hope you and your family are fine.

I am not that worried much now. For the reason that we have never been acquainted with them since they arrived here in the neighborhood.

My elder brother got infected a month ago and luckily we all were not. As we all live in the same building. We all are 18 members so there was a need to get the test but we all were negative. My bother had to quarantine at home for 14 days.

If the reason for the quarantine is because they're new to the area, no, I wouldn't panic.

I found out today that they need to be quarantined. The reason is that the old place where they lived has a positive case. It is a matter of tracing the contact people.

I won't, as long as I don't have any contact with them. Sometimes the one who gets this virus don't show any symptoms because they are simply a carrier. So keep doing health protocols.

You know the problem now with filling up that information, no ones doing it these days here. It has become optional now. The only office that requires you to fill up these small forms here is the water provider, the guard is trict. the rest they don't enforce it that much.

For contact tracing purposes, small or big establishments do use them here now. In this case, they were new neighbors and need to report directly to the barangay unit. They failed because of it.
