Who Wants To Join Me For a Cup of Coffee?

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Thought I'd pop on here and have my first cup of coffee with you all. I'm up a bit earlier than usual (but not by much).
Today we're heading into the second week of my daughters two jobs. Today she left early as she had to go into the office. She'll be going into the office on Tues and Thurs for the next few weeks and then working from home with the new job the other days. Until I get used to her new schedule it's going to be a bit confusing. Since she was home all last week it is kind of weird not having her here today. I'm sure we'll fall into the new routine quickly and she's already loving the new job.
Its weird how life goes.
My daughter got a new job and on Friday my son in law lost his. I'm praying he finds another one soon and like my daughter one that's closer to home. He was also on the road early in the morning and getting home late at night.
So, I have the day to myself.
I have about 50 pages left in the book I'm reading and I also have to figure out what to do with the chicken I took out to defrost.
Other than that, today is just another day . I'm not complaining....I'm happy to be alive

Not Covid related. They are cutting back. He worked as manager for a Ford dealership and then they made him assistant manager and then decided they didn't need an assistant. I'm sure he'll find another job since he has tons of certifications

@Marilynda1225 Oh yeah, I am sure he will too. Roomies brother got a job at Carmax..but the heavy people contact is wearing him out. He is not a people person. I am sure your son in law is.

I hope your son in law finds a job soon. Around here there are lots of jobs but I'm not sure they are well-paying ones. Though in Ct we already have the $15 minimum wage. I agree to wake up every morning is a delight. I am working my way through my first cup of coffee.

That’s awful news for your son in law 
. I’m so glad your daughter loves her new job though.
I’m babysitting my nephew for a few hours to help him with his school work while his mother works. I felt so awful all weekend I asked my sister to have her boyfriends father watch her daughter today. I feel a little better today but I’m exhausted.
I’ll pass on joining you for coffee just thinking about it almost makes me gag lol. I wonder how long after the baby is born that this goes away. Since I was little I always loved the smell of coffee. I can’t stand it now.

It's funny how certain smells bother you when you're pregnant especially when it's a smell you used to love. How you get your energy back as you go into your next trimester

Fingers crossed that he finds a new job quickly. With the kids home all day doing online schooling my daughter will probably pull her hair out if he's underfoot for too long

He's married to my oldest daughter and they live about 5 min away. My youngest daughter lives with me since she got divorced

She starts the new job on Feb 16 and is doing online training until the 16th. Meanwhile she's still working her regular job 2 days a week until the 16th. I know its a little confusing
