After I logged off the computer yesterday, I got a phone call from my new apartment manager. My lease was ready for signing. I hurried over there. Short walk, and signed all the paperwork. I know the prorated amount I'll need in September, which made me very happy. I pick up the keys at 9 AM on September 8.
Now, I have even more incentive to get the packing finished more sooner than later.
In other good news, my car will be fixed today.

Thank you. My older son, no. I don't want him to know where I live. My younger son will do what he can. My grandsons - only one lives near me and works two jobs that I know of, so I don't know if he can. I have four people from church to help, and I asked my son's friend if he could help. We'll see who shows up on September 11.

At times being in mask everytime one goes out can be so frustrating and even suffocating.
I have had one vaccine and the next one is due the next month.

Signing of the lease, this is confirmation that the new apartment is completely secured. No more wondering, what lies ahead. And with your car is fixed, everything is back on track again. I'm driving Jay's truck this week. I might not let him have it back

Plus I might have to get a new AC. The current one is not cooling effectively and has undergone a hell lot of repairs and servicing over the years.
So a kind of Law of Diminishing returns is acting on it- hence a new AC, even if costlier option looks a better one.

Well at times, we cannot postpone some buyings. We actually had some plans in APril but then severe lockdowns started here.
There are options of buying AC online but I do not have trust in buying such a major thing online(I do buy groceries and clothes but not big buys).
So I need to visit a few stores in the next few weeks.

My good news is I'm consistent in my daily walking routine and my wife and I have gone to the market together for it's our market day. We eat our breakfast in our favorite eatery inside the market. We're happy together.
