I dont like the changes to the order of discussions at the top of the page!

so that's what it is - I was wondering why they were no longer in last updated tyime order

I agree. I like the fact that we have more choices, but I really don't want it to always to to the top discussions. I just wish it would always go to the recent discussions because chances are we have already responded to the top discussions. How can we get mylot to change things back? I know they've had a lot of bugs with all the changes, but I really hope it goes back to how it was before. I also hope they make it so that when we are done posting a response, that we go right back to the discussions. Anyone else with me on this one?

ahh, juicy, what ya whinging bout now, lol! I know what you mean though, you get use to one thing then it gets up and changes on you. Still I think it's all for the better. Better get use to it! Mwah.

I'm usually very resistant to changes but I am doing quite well with this. It took me a bit to figure out that I wasn't looking at recent discussions anymore.lol. I usully go to my friends posts or my interests anyways. If I get bored then I go to the other ones. But I know what you mean about the slowness.

Anytime a site such as this makes such a change, there will be an adjustment period. However, without change comes no growth. I think you will find that if you give it some time you will get used to the new format.

I hate it as well! It took me half a day to realise why the topics weren't changing lmao I was thinking that Mylot must be erroring and was stuck on the topics! It was much better when it was set to recent discussions.

frankly, i prefer the current setting..hehe...cos i find that i easily lose out the discussions previously as they changed too fast (for example, if we are in page 5 and after we respond to that discussion, it will jumped to page 1..but now , it will stay at page 5) in that way, i could actually make sure that i respond to most of the discussions and not miss out any good one...sigh..i hope you get what im trying to say..cos i'm lost myself LOL

this is true, but now discussions have more quality even if for me this is a little difficult because i don't understand everything in english and sometimes i can't reply for this

I think it's annoying too. Always the same discussions on top, then you have to go back to the page you were at. If only, after a reply, they'd send you back to the page you were checking posts on.

i don't like it either.. i want them to shift it to the recent discussion..its annoying to see the same discussion over and over again..it gives me an eye sore _

yeh i think i agree this is the first change i havnt been to keen on it is annoying though is it lol :p It took me a few attempts at refreshing the page to figure out it had changed though :p

I will work out for the better, and as a result I think the site is actuall ymoving faster because it is not having to work as hard loading the different front pages for everyone anymore. Also as a few other have pointed out here, now you can more easily get back to a discussion without having to search for it.

Okay just hang on a minute juicemilk while I get you the "soap box". Unfortunately there are some major changes going on and it will take a while till we get used to them, but it will happen and then we will wonder why we ever had this discussion. There are certainly some great improvements here at myLot and so with the extra money that they are going to be paying us, we will just have to put up with a little inconvenience. Also I suspect that there is a bit more activity here tonight while some members search to see which discussions were deleted etc. :) Cheer up because this one will soon be behind you. Right I have got you your soap box and now you can say what you think and nobody can stop you. LOL

yes it happens some times....i hope mylot people are listening you and would take proper actions, happy mylotting

I know it is annoying I noticed that after sometime since I would just try to find my discussions and would never find in the top discussions.

So this explains it. I was wondering why the order of posts on the first page wasnot changing. Damn! Stupid me! I figured that out only after reading this post! Thanks man.
