Just ordered two more Christmas gifts from Amazon, I had wanted to do email delivery, but for one of them it wasn't offered and the other one the card was so darn cute, I just had to order it an it only came mail delivery, at first they were promising one day delivery, but then when I actually placed the order, the said the delivery would be Dec. 24. The other one only has estimated delivery time of Dec. 24. That is a little concerning..but Amazon usually is pretty speedy. So, not too worried..yet anyway!

They usually deliver by the date they announce, many times one day before.

@LadyDuck I don't do that !such online shopping. I would say 20 percent a most. It is a great convenience though.

@snowy22315 We have a few online stores that are also good. I ordered something this morning and it will be here tomorrow before noon.

We've just organised eCards for our son and his wife in Ireland and we've transferred money to the other son in Melbourne. It's really, REALLY expensive to send parcels here, especially overseas.

Yes, I suppose it would be. Does our son in Melbourne ever visit? I know you talked about going there a time or two.

@snowy22315 He has visited when my mother was alive but he has very little money to spare and has anxiety issues as well. We would willingly pay for him but it's just easier all round if we go there.

Well, it will be OK, because they won't actually celebrate until the 27th. They will wait for sis to go up there to open gifts.

I've been lucky with Amazon and got everything I ordered. Even the stuff that was delayed managed to get here

Oh you just reminded me that I have a $25 voucher to use on amazon from work. Too bad I don't want/need anything.
