Actress Carrie Murray's films are a Christmas lover's delight. Filled with twinkling lights, festive carols, and happy endings, they're the perfect escape from reality - for her and the audience. Then Tinseltown calls. Braxton Timothy is Hollywood's biggest action star. Handsome and talented but decidedly on the naughty list, no one can fathom his sudden desire to produce a feel-good Christmas movie - least of all, his no-name co-star. Alternating between scenes reminiscent of everyone's favorite made-for-tv movies and unexpected, off-screen chemistry, Gingerbread Falls has surprises in store this holiday season. The question is, will there be enough Christmas magic to convince two imperfect people that they're perfect for each other? ~~~~ This was a unique Christmas romance. The story within a story gives the reader a look behind the scenes of the makings of your typical Hallmark Christmas movie. And the story outside of the movie gives you the same feel good moments of those holiday movies, except for the waiting until the very end until they kiss moment. That's what Hallmark movies are made of. This story has a little bit more romance, and a tiny bit of steam, and of course a sudden conflict. Both characters have sordid pasts that they have kept secret, until now. This was a fun read. I love behind-the-scenes stuff, bloopers and all. And when romance in movies is supposed to wait until the very end, it is hard for Carrie and Braxton to suppress their feelings on screen. I gave this book 4 stars. I loved it.

I could defnitely read something like this. I need a break from my crime/mystery stuff I've been doing.

I like mysteries and thrillers as well. I have a bunch of holiday books that I need to read before the holidays are done, or at least the winter. LOL. I am doing a lot of reading lately. I am looking forward to getting back to some thrillers, but still like my romances. That's why I like romantic suspense best.
