Two is Always Better Than One Pipevine Butterfly

Sharing a different butterfly. I was lucky enough to get two in this one. I actually also made a 4-minute video of these two beauties. They are called Pipevine Swallowtail butterflies. Of course, the male is the one with the bright colored orange spots. Both butterfly bushes are still covered with butterflies. The hotter it gets, the more I see many kinds of butterflies. Still enjoying watching from the window. I go out for a few minutes at a time to photograph. Taking things a day at a time. That is all any of us can do. Will catch up eventually. Photo is mine from Dustin's garden yesterday.

@CarolDM You're very welcome. We never see butterflies here. But we also don't have many flowering plants, either. I've started a honeysuckle vine to climb one of the poles on the front porch. Maybe next year we'll see butterflies here.

They really are beautiful. Today is much cooler and drier here. I saw alot of butterflies today. Coincidentally, you saw yours at Dustin's garden and I saw mine in our son's yard. I hope that you are feeling better.

I love this species Anna. And this one is my favorite. I love all of the blue and the orange, so gorgeous. I took a 4-minute video and I watch it when I can't get outside.

Wow, what a beautiful picture! You definitely have some photography talent! We rarely see butterflies here (suburb of Atlanta, Georgia). We have to go to Callaway Gardens in south Georgia to see butterflies.
