Prices are going crazy

Good day friends. I am very happy to see that many old members are still here and that you have not forgotten me. I realized how much I missed all this. Your support, I've missed you all. It's now 1pm, it's cloudy outside, but I hope we won't have any more rain, because it's been raining for two days. I have to iron, but also go to town to buy groceries. Here, food prices have gone crazy, gone sky high and it's really hard for me to buy even the most necessary things. I know the whole world is in such a problem, but I'm wondering if you have the same problem? Can you buy everything you need?

It's raining for the second day in a row now. It's about 6:30 am in my part of the US. Pretty and I have been managing to find everything we felt we needed. Sometimes we have to go to three different grocery stores to do that, though. Good luck in your hunt for the groceries you need.

@Nevena83 We have some gaps in stock in different stores. It's not always easy to get the things we want. (I lost my job two years ago so the government is paying for our groceries each month now.)

@DaddyEvil We really have everything here, but it is very difficult to buy. Is government assistance limited?

Oh, it's early in the morning. I got up before 6 am but went back to sleep and slept longer this morning. Here we have everything in every store, but the problem is lack of money.

@Nevena83 There is overcapacity here, and everything is sufficient. But our current problem is that hospitals are overcrowded.

The rise in prices started here when the war between Ukraine and Russia started. And I don't think it will stop.

@ifa225 Here too, fuel prices have started to rise, but the government often limits fuel price hikes, but this is not enough. It's amazing how the whole world is affected by that war.

Prices have gone crazy here too and not only have the prices gone up but many things the packaging has shrunk so basically you're getting less for more money. Sometimes I have to shop at more than one store to get everything I need.

Yes, you're right, and here the quantities of many brands have decreased, they no longer round 100, 200 grams, but much less for much more money. Here, all the shops are full of products, but it is very difficult to buy everything you need because of the high prices. Even the price of fuel has increased.

@Shivram59 Talking to many traders, they believe that prices will not return to normal even when the war is over. It might just slow down the price hikes, but it won't go back down.

Oh, it's been raining here for the third day and gloomy weather. I do not like rain. Everything is available here, but the prices are so high that it is difficult for me to buy everything I need. Yes, I was just writing with a member about that war. I can't believe that the whole world is suffering, and Zelensky doesn't realize that he is just a puppet.

Nice to see you! We have a couple days break from the rain - but it's supposed to rain hard again soon. Prices are up everywhere, but we always look for sales/deals. Right now eggs (at the better prices) are difficult to find . . . not impossible but they are not in abundance on the shelves.

@Nevena83 Ah, do you get a lot of snow there? It does not snow here, but this rain is remarkable as normally we would be warm and quite dry (drought situation). The weather is crazy around the world. Our eggs have gotten pricey too because of the scarceness .

I'm so happy you remember me. The rain has stopped here at the moment, but in many places it has already snowed, so it may happen here soon. We still haven't had snow since the beginning of winter. There are a lot of eggs here, but the price has tripled.

Money is not an issue for me, fortunately. So, sure things are costing more, and much more. But it is not impacting me like it is impacting some. We need to get this inflation under control, that's for sure. It is hurting a lot of people around the world.

@Nevena83 But as I have also always said, that's a choice people make to not participate in the economy that affords them more money. And thus, many people suffer needlessly.
